I am on to you sir.

People who think that bark_at_the_moonbat and QuentinR are just the same guy, STOP!

You are giving them way too much credit to come up with a plan like that

Especially moonbat.... the farker can't spell for shiat.

pshaw
Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, that's the price of an election these days. It's not the millions of dollars you spend. (Oh... but that's still very important.) It's the number of people who will sacrifice their lives to the cause.

Some of you will die. But that is a price I am willing to pay.

2005-12-13 05:03:22 PM
I have, and it can be pretty nasty. But I agree that the bigotry of paternalism is, at best, at least as nasty.

I spoke too fast. I'm sure it happens, especially in like Alabammer. But here in LA, I drive a nice car, don't dress like a thug, never had any problems.

Abortion clinic bombing are a real plaugue upon this land, aren't they GWLush.

Just like witch burning, the Crusades and the Inquisition. Might as go ahead and throw those in. We now have the Fark-4 covered.

But now we have a new one; Repiblican voter fraud.

If only those angelic Democrats can rescue the country before its too late, we might save one more abortion clinic from destruction... or even the election of an east-coast liberal!

And don't you think that if he actually HAD ordered fraud in the machines, at least ONE of the 100 or so people who'd have to be in on "the conspiracy" might have been a Democrat? One?

Well, it looks like they just needed to keep Diane Kelleher out of that meeting.

Oh, and did you notice how much of the money went to the innocuously named Equipment Leasing Association of America?

Well, let's look who they contributed to:

2006: -6% to Democrats, 106% to Republicans

Strange, that.

Reglar-Roger: At what point do we start grabbing muskets?

It's too late. Your puny weapons are no match for APCs, tanks, etc. The second amendment meant something when a citizen's militia could be as well armed as the Government's troops, but now? Pretty useless.

I'd say we pretty much outgun the Iraqi insurgency, but they sure are making it unpleasant for us over there anyway.

2005-12-13 05:15:17 PM
Ahhh, yes, the classic liberal line; 'I'm better educated than you'.

You're a better person. I get that. I'm sure you are. Its the message that east-coast elitists sniff down to the 'rest of us' everyday.

And that's why they lose elections. Its not the machines, chief. Its your snob attitude.

By the way, are you CERTAIN that you are 'better educated', hmmm?

aurorous: I love that add at the bottom left that says "Beat Bush 2008!"

Is George W Bush running for something in 2008?

George W. Bush will be running in every election till every dollar he mispent is paid back. After all, he wasn't running for governor of New Jersey either, but he lost that election.

1. For the record: Not a "liberal".

Anarcho-Socialist

Say it with me: An-ar-cho So-cial-ist

2. Not an elitest

3. I am a broke ass college student on his way to graduation

4. Its divisions like this that create havoc between Americans

5. I never said I was better. I am human, thus flawed. I look upon all man with equal eyes

6. I came up with this ad hominem attack based on your ad hominem saying something rather silly about my breath

5. I probably got more from my education then you did yours

2005-12-13 05:22:30 PM
No one here, but this is still too good to pass up:

Hang on Voltaire wrote: "Absolutely. There is no proof of fraud so we have to have an investigation?? Plus the press has already looked into this. If there were an investigation tomorrow and they came back and said, "we found no fraud in this election" would you buy it?"

And now, the coup de grace, from Mr. Donald Rumsfeld himself: "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence."

And now, my life is complete. Well, not really.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa - let's not blow this story out of proportion.

Were there any blow jobs involved?

I didn't think so.

BY THE WAY?! do homeless people have the right to vote in America?
just curious.. ..they live there don't they?

So college 'taught' you that being an An-ar-cho So-cial-ist (But 'not a liberal') is the path to a better life. My, but you HAVE been paying attention, haven't you?

I, on the other hand, am not a broke ass college student. Rather, I am a graduate of college and far from 'broke'.

Hmmm... I wonder which one of us really has 'got more' from his education?

I just wonder...

BrotherAlpha: George W. Bush will be running in every election till every dollar he [misspent] is paid back.

Is that a universal rule? Cause that could mean he'll be running against FDR...

After all, he wasn't running for governor of New Jersey either, but he lost that election.

Says you. Jersey tends pretty Democratic anyway, and after all you're talking about maintaining a governorship that was already Democratic, not winning new territory. I have to admit, I find it a bit confusing that the Dems are crowing so much about how dissatisfaction with Bush caused them to retain two governorships they already held, and to only lose one Lt. Governorship to the Reps.

2005-12-13 05:27:50 PM
While I do not agree throwing Oreos at people (give them to me, I am 20 pounds underweight), I find that rationale a bit.... unbelievable. Has any Democrat come out and said that? I don't think they have. And I really don't think irony applies here. Just, you know... pointing this out.

Sorry about losing my temper for a minute back there. I know I've been called an oreo a few times, and it definitely wasn't a Republican doing it.

2005-12-13 05:29:28 PM
dubdub, homeless people DO have the right to vote. That's why they get taken to polling stations by Democrat activists on election day in exchange for smokes, booze or cash.

Happens every time...

This from the guy who was accusing someone upthread of being an education elitist.

Isn't it amazing how some people don't seem have the ability to see how their statments might make them appear to others?

So college 'taught' you that being an An-ar-cho So-cial-ist (But 'not a liberal') is the path to a better life. My, but you HAVE been paying attention, haven't you?

No. My own conscious decision before college brought me to my favoring of Socialism. College does not teach ideaologies, only facts. It stimulates the mind. My own choices have no relevance to my college education.

I, on the other hand, am not a broke ass college student. Rather, I am a graduate of college and far from 'broke'.

Oh, wouldn't that make you elitist if you are far from broke, wouldn't it? Oh, by the way, the Renaissance was started by Elitist patrons, so if you truly value your education, I suppose you better re-learn what you are talking about. If you want to play intelligence games, lets go.

It also seems this broke ass college student is giving you a harder time then dumb ass college graduate is giving me.

Hmmm... I wonder which one of us really has 'got more' from his education?

Me obviously, as you seem to only serve to discredit which ever institution taught you. Your spelling alone is enough to say that your college education is probably imaginary.

I just wonder...

What was your discipline?

crypto, put the bong down and calm down.

My words regarding education were in RESPONSE to someone claiming that what they had to say carried more weight than my words because THEY were 'better educated' then I am.

I responded to that.

If my RESPONSE to that rather un-educated insult bothers you, then scroll up before vomiting more tripe like that onto dubdub's playground.

By the way, I vote dubdub as the official liberal voice for this exciting and enlightening thread. I'll even use a Diebold machine to cast the first ballot.

Your opinion lost substance when you said lying about a blow job before a grand jury was a worse offense then breaking and entering with the intentions of subverting this nations democratic process.

You sir are an asshat!

No wonder you don't mind if an election was fixed. To you Nixon's actions were a petty infraction that barely merits mention.
