Couldn't agree more. Being the same age as Magic, and watching him and Larry B. with such joy, I have to say that him announcing he had HIV was a big hit. This was one of those "Remember where you were when you heard" moments for me.

I was on a cruise ship that was anchored in Jamaica when the news started spreading through the ship. NO ONE believed it. Finally got US news on cabin TV. Remember so wondering (and hoping) that he was gay, because as a hetero single male this could be trouble.

Just reminiscing a bit. Still, for those in my age group, this was way up there.
