Bad day?

2005-11-11 06:10:53 PM
Run over AND stabbed? He must be pissed. Too bad about that injury thing, too.

2005-11-11 06:10:59 PM
Wait, wait... he was run over, stabbed, and then injured?

This guy can't get a farking break, can he?

2005-11-11 06:12:57 PM
Studded tires?

2005-11-11 06:19:47 PM
I suppose it beats being dead after being run over and stabbed.

Story so short, yet even the article writer farked up his own headline ...

"The victim walked out of JT's Sports Bar in Atascocita just before it closed for the night. Eyewitnesses say the suspect jumped out of his truck and ran over to the victim and then started stabbing him."

Looks like someone had a case of the Thursdays.

The human body is susceptable to a new problem sweeping the nation which scientists are calling "pain." More at 11.

2005-11-11 07:05:31 PM
Atascocita...why does that make me chuckle? And how the fark do you say it?

2005-11-11 07:06:18 PM
It would be much nicer to be run over and not stabbed.

2005-11-11 07:09:19 PM
At Ass Co Seat Ah

Grew up there. Its right next to Lake Houston east of Humble. I prolly know the Farks involved.

2005-11-11 07:09:47 PM
Run over and stabbed? One or the other, sure, but BOTH? that's just uncalled for.

2005-11-11 07:09:47 PM
That headline has too many unnecesary words... SHould just read as "Man injured"

2005-11-11 07:10:52 PM
This is down the the street from me on the later news it said the guy got mad cause he said something about his mother also that he left the truck and knife there at the scene typical Humble trash.

I kind of forgot what it was like to be a liter. Damn me. The admins seem to pick the most flame inducing threads available. It's kind of like they want to see the wars. Hmmmmmm.

2005-11-11 07:23:10 PM
Hey leave the Atascocita people out of your Humble Trash statement. What are you a kingwood fag?

2005-11-11 07:24:19 PM
Well it's an important distinction - he could have been injured *before* being run over and stabbed.

2005-11-11 07:25:56 PM
I'll bet he had the flu, too.

2005-11-11 07:29:38 PM
Remember the kid who was ran over and then got up to kill the guy by punching him one time in the face?

2005-11-11 07:39:52 PM
That Ric Romero pic, do you think that it get such widespead use on fark has helped or hurt his career, I smell a followup

"For some reason it hurt a lot more to get stabbed in the leg this time"
My name is Earl yo

2005-11-11 07:54:57 PM
Haha!

That's retarted.
Doh! that's in my neck of the woods

2005-11-11 08:15:39 PM
I'm confused. The headline says run over and then stabbed, but there is no mention (at least that I can see) of the victim being run over before being stabbed 7 times.

2005-11-11 08:21:21 PM
So let me get this straight....stabbing and getting ran over cause injury?...when did this start?

2005-11-11 08:53:45 PM
So let me get this straight - "The attacker got out of the car, ran over to the victim, and stabbed him". gets garbled into "the victim got run over", and this thread gets followed by one on how stupid people are more likely to get injured? Yeah, and to Fark up their headlines too!

2005-11-11 09:06:34 PM
Eyewitnesses say the suspect jumped out of his truck and "ran over to the victim" and then started stabbing him.

/sheesh...
//so who the fark misread this article and then submitted it?

2005-11-11 09:07:55 PM
Retards write em and Retards light em...

2005-11-11 09:16:39 PM
I can see where the confusion started. The headline on the actual article says the victim was run over, but he obviously wasn't. Did the author of the article or the submitter actually RTFA? I think not! I call shenanigans. I can't get an article greenlit to save my soul, but this poorly written crap gets passed through constantly!
//hope I didn't sound too bitter

2005-11-11 09:54:09 PM
O Rly?

Ya Rly?

2005-11-11 11:36:05 PM
O RLY?

2005-11-12 12:08:25 AM
You drove right over him and then you speyd away!
How does it feel to kill and know you didn't pay?
To walk away, even though a life is gone?
Someday you'll know the price when God repays you faw yoah wrongs!

Egon Spengler: Vigo the Carpathian. Born 1505, died 1610.
Peter Venkman: 105 years old, he hung in there, didn't he?
Raymond Stantz: He didn't die of old age, either. He was poisoned, stabbed, shot, hung, stretched, disembowled, drawn and quartered.
Peter Venkman: Ouch.

2005-11-12 06:11:58 AM
AHAHAHA... Fark wins again!

as of today and from now on they changed the caption to simply read: Man stabbed after leaving Atascocita bar.

how cute
