I love you, Bear Toy

Look, if you want to make a comfy bra, come with me on a road rally sometime when we're pounding dry washboards. The only bra I've found thus far that will clamp down the girls in that case is the Vicky's Body by Victoria lined demi racerback. Anything else makes it feel like I've been running down stairs for four and a half hours.
2005-11-05 09:34:20 AM
Ok, who's got the link to that blond chick with the multiple boob-gyration options.
2005-11-05 09:35:25 AM

I will be more than happy to ride along and observe your breasts. Just let me know when and where. :-P
2005-11-05 09:39:49 AM
Do we still not know how boobies move? Really? This makes me sad, not so much for the bra industry, but for humanity.
2005-11-05 09:40:43 AM
Sadly, they tend to move away from me very quickly.
2005-11-05 09:56:47 AM
I often research this myself by randomly walking up to strangers on the street and shaking their boobage.

Excellent research project. I wish I could get a grant instead of a restraining order.

I once shared a dorm complex with a well-endowed woman who had a tendency to run around.

Up and down, side to side, or around in circles. What's to understand?
2005-11-05 10:07:14 AM
The answer is simple and obvious: Bode plots.
2005-11-05 10:07:37 AM
Anyone remember Daily Radar? They had an parody article on game programmers doing computer boobie motion modeling?

N. S. Radieaux: I once shared a dorm complex with a well-endowed woman who had a tendency to run around.

Got pics?

I'd like to volunteer to observe well-endowed 20-something women shake their boobies. Particularly if they are naked. I am willing to make the sacrifice in the name of science.

Well, just the scientists, really.

Not sure why it has been so long and still bras suck so bad, it's like they don't even have a woman try one on first, they fall apart, underwire pokes out, dig into your armpits, or they don't hold ANYTHING in. They also tend to bunch up if it is a molded demi cup and look weird under tight tops. Bravo for thinking about making a good bra for once.

incendi: Well, just the scientists, really.

Really. I can picture a bunch of Professor Frinks standing around and the female test subject comes in. "It's a laaaaaady person! Hide the comic books!"

2005-11-05 10:57:24 AM
Great bras exist, but you have to be willing to pay over $50 for them. For that kind of money, you could hire a hobo to walk around all day and hold them up for you.
2005-11-05 11:00:34 AM

Enjoyed reading your bio. Not trying to creep you out, just sayin'.

I'd post a bio, but first I need a life.....
2005-11-05 11:03:00 AM
I am sorry, but I cannot trust these "so called" scientists to be objective. I will be needing an uncontaminated sample of women sent to my house immediately for my own observation. I swear on my life, as my word as a.. uh.. scientist.. to examine their breasts in every possible physical state. Until then, I do not place any creedence in their results.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

I just got a visual. Somewhere in a basement two geeks are jumping up and down high five-ing and yelling "Leonard! We got the grant! We got the grant!"

I believe it's pretty well-established scientific fact that the force that causes boobie movement is something called a Brrrrrrrumskiiiiii.

I want a grant, now....... seriously....... where can I get a grant like this? I have been inspired and I have some very important research.. the nature of which I cannot disclose at this time. ....if you can get us the grant, I will share 50/50..
2005-11-05 11:25:31 AM
I'm in
2005-11-05 11:26:19 AM the way, is this one of those things that the dude on the late-night infomercials (you know, the guy dressed like the Riddler) was talking about? ......I always thought it was a scam. I am pissed.

mantari: A NEW ERA IS BORN: Breast Physics!

initial studies have in fact cast doubt in the validity of this as a single field of study... one only needs to look at the recent literature. the field is already splitting into three quite distinct subfields: siliconists, salinists, and naturalists.
2005-11-05 11:26:36 AM
jiggle physics.
2005-11-05 11:30:39 AM
welcome to the team.....

.......well, that makes two.......
hmmmmmmmm....... i did say 50/50, didn't i?.........

...............well, now I will just give up my half of the profits to see the titties jiggle....... and everyone else can argue about the politics and logistics of it all.....

As long as these new fangled bras they come up with still show a little jiggle and bounce I'll tolerate them, otherwise BAN ALL BRAS!!!

The reason that scientists don't know much about boobies is because they didn't date much in high school (taking your sister to the prom doesn't count). Frankly, I'm suspicious of their motives in this current endeavor.

2005-11-05 11:54:21 AM

No way, dude. You ban bras, I'm going to have to lead a violent revolt. Excessive jiggle really hurts.
2005-11-05 11:55:34 AM
anyone still has the bouncing version of this?
[image from too old to be available]

i swear to god i read this article before in Discover magazine.... there was a picture on the girl hooked up with like... a hojillion wires attached to her boobies...

My problem is I share a bra size with quite a few people who have breast implants (they always go for a D cup instead of something reasonable), and our boobs move in different ways, quite frankly. I keep thinking my bras would actually fit someone with plastic half-spheres for breasts than normal boobs.

Oh, and even in expensive bras - nothing will stay in. My left one ALWAYS tries to escape. I lean over and it's like, it ate the bra.

In the cheap bras I'm living in right now (hail La Senza for being wearable at least), I have to readjust like every 1/2 hour or more.

Help me scientists, you're my only hope!
2005-11-05 12:00:26 PM
tzzoooma There is something wrong with that woman's breasts. Real breasts don't bounce around like that when there's a dress like that over them. Really, they shouldn't be bouncing like that at all with the way she's moving. That's either a Photoshop, or some of the worst fake boobs I've ever seen.

//would be really disturbed if my boobs did that
2005-11-05 12:03:08 PM
Well, with the recent dearth of Boobies links, I suppose this will have to do.

2005-11-05 12:07:13 PM
They move very nicely. Write that down scientists. Very Nicely.
