Maybe the Russian and European engineers had a mix up between the metric system and smug self-righteousness?

Poor little guy stole it just because he wanted to go home!

The spacecraft is currently in the possession of supervillain Dr. Dorolaksov who plans to arm it and use it to hold the world hostage for some random amount of money.

Yeah I was thinking S.P.E.C.T.R.E had something to do with it. It's in a volcano somewhere.

So this thing crashes in Kamchatka, and the next day the Ruskies fire a missile at Kamchatka?

Tell me this doesn't risk of something fishy

/Not that something fishy, you perverts!

It's a European spacecraft. Which explains why it didn't work.

"The ship's collapsible, cone-shaped body is made of light material that can withstand high temperatures and it can fly on a predictable trajectory without engines making it a cheap alternative to the Soyuz spacecraft currently in use."

Alien copyright infringement indeed. No engines?

I work for the aliens that took this spacecraft

So I am really getting a kick out of most of these replies.

Some of you guys are very good at making it sound like you know what you are talking about.

But trust me.... You don't.

I think you just want to make yourself sound smart, when in reality you dont know what you are talking about.

This is how bad info gets passed around.

If you dont know about the topic....Dont make yourself sound like you do.

Cuz some Farkers belive anything they hear.

"It's a European spacecraft. Which explains why it didn't work,"

As opposed to American spacecraft. Nice fireworks display!

2005-10-08 11:02:40 PM
Yeah! That's right, baby! America's space program is MUCH more reliable! Only once have they sent people into space and not brought them back safely (oh...because the other 2 times they killed them before they ever GOT to orbit).

Really, folks. The U.S. is in no position to criticize the effectiveness of other peoples' space programs. EVERYBODY has failures.

/sigh
