One of my DDR mixes has "Oops I did it again" on it ^^;
2002-04-28 01:37:32 AM
I thought she was killed in a car wreck.
Maybe it was a dream.
2002-04-28 01:38:00 AM
Britney will only be interesting to guys until around 2 years from now when the "BRITNEY XXX HARDCORE" is released. Then everyone will lose interest. First it will be the guys, then the girls, then the people who have overprotective parents.
2002-04-28 01:38:03 AM
This game was reviewed by Lewis Black on the Daily Show. He did't seem to like it.
2002-04-28 01:43:13 AM
Black's review of GTA3 and Britney's Beat(ing) was hi-farking-larious. "Nothing sticks it to the man like taking out a Cinnibun!"
2002-04-28 01:43:59 AM
*blink* I've known about this for a while... and you know? I heard a commentator on VH1 the other day, during a britney/christina battle cola wars, someone mentioned: 'Maybe christina will be first to put out a video game.' I shook my head and said: 'Too late.'
2002-04-28 01:44:31 AM
I'd buy this in a heartbeat. Just wish there would've been a Color Me Badd game for my old Nintendo, or Menudo for my Atari, or whatever.
2002-04-28 01:46:52 AM
Why do I have a feeling that I need to pray to the porcelain god?
2002-04-28 01:50:24 AM
The scary part is that this got a good review..
2002-04-28 01:51:04 AM
Isn't this old news? I seem to remember trying to submit this several months ago.
2002-04-28 01:51:13 AM
Just wish I could get Marky Mark's Make My Video for Sega Saturn..
2002-04-28 01:52:55 AM

Second thought: I hate that biatch. Not because she's rich, not because she's popular, but because she got rich and popular not on the basis on talent but because she has nice boobies. fark modern american music. Now I have to listen to some Cowboy Bebop stuff to get the bad taste out of my mouth.
2002-04-28 01:54:18 AM
The back of my farking Official Playstation Magazine is an ad for it.. fark.
2002-04-28 01:55:37 AM
Pfft, everyone knows pop star and video game crossover's peaked with .

Though I played it, I never did beat it.
2002-04-28 01:56:04 AM
2002-04-28 01:56:44 AM
Alright, alright, I'll just link it.

Farking fark.
2002-04-28 01:58:16 AM
Damnit, fark is being picky, although it's lost all meaning, HERE IT IS ANYWAY

/me runs away and cries
2002-04-28 01:59:02 AM
So does she progressively strip every time you beat the game?
2002-04-28 01:59:35 AM
2002-04-28 02:13:21 AM
Oh yeah, CG Britney. Like fabricated nerd eye candy isn't bad enough...
2002-04-28 02:14:06 AM
Cowboy Bepop is the shiat, man. Have you made seen the Mushroom Samba episode yet?
That series has really great music in it. Word.
2002-04-28 02:19:11 AM
I tapped that
2002-04-28 02:20:05 AM
Uh... button. That's what I meant, I tapped that button at the right time, and GOT TEH POWER UP!
2002-04-28 02:22:08 AM
And Britters takes one more step towards fatal saturation...
2002-04-28 02:24:20 AM
There was also some game for the segaCD, I believe, that let you remix C&C Dance Factory songs. Oh the horror.
2002-04-28 02:24:24 AM
I heard on the radio that the Four Horsemen are on their way, can anyone confirm this?
2002-04-28 02:30:18 AM
Mmmmmmmm digital Britney boobies
[image from too old to be available]
2002-04-28 02:38:40 AM
Sadly, the game's boobies are more realistic than Britney's own.

2002-04-28 02:39:32 AM
Cowboy Bebop is the best. anime. series. ever. accept yo!
2002-04-28 02:43:05 AM
Samba De Amigo for Dreamcast is the most addictive and fun game I have ever played. I recommend getting a Dreamcast for 50 bucks, and finding a set of the Maraca controllers, and get this game.
2002-04-28 02:44:45 AM
Nick, you farkin beat me to it.
2002-04-28 02:45:21 AM
"Let me start this preview off by saying that until recently, Britney Spears was not my favorite pop princess...Over the last few years, this lovely lass from Louisiana has captured the hearts of millions of men with her sexy sauntering and voluptuous vocals, but my heart was immune to her seductive powers. All of that has changed, however, after spending several hours playing a beta copy of Britney's Dance Beat."

So, he's saying that he didn't like oogling Britney when she was a real person, but once they digitized her form, he kept finding himself reaching for his box of Kleenex? He must have been thinking something along the lines of, "Gee, she sure has p'erty polygons. I wouldn't mind rasterizing with her *chuckle, chuckle, snort*".
2002-04-28 02:55:30 AM
On first glance, I thought the headline read "Barney's dance beat".

2002-04-28 03:12:32 AM
A britney spears game, and you don't even get to shoot her. Dammit all to hell!
2002-04-28 03:24:16 AM
Don't be so harsh, it's based on Bust a Groove, which 0wnz j00. Hiro fscking rules, man.

on another note, Cowboy Bebop surrenders like France in the face of Rurouni Kenshin when it comes to best anime series ever. The music is better though, I admit.
2002-04-28 03:24:41 AM
Mushroom Samba is perhaps my favorite episode.

"You know, this is the stairway to heaven."
"Stupid loudmouth frog."
2002-04-28 03:27:40 AM
The DDR people I always see at the arcade scare me. However, they do make me feel less dorky about stopping by once a week to play Time Crisis 2 or Virtua Tennis since these people are obviously never anyplace else.
2002-04-28 03:31:24 AM
I still spend long hours playing Bust-a-Groove on my PS2. The scary thing about this game is...I might actually buy it and enjoy it. kill dozens upon dozens of filthy kittens (I'm allergic).
2002-04-28 03:36:50 AM
What's sad is that my friend is the QA Lead on that project. Please pity him as he is in a hell no one can relate to
2002-04-28 03:42:23 AM

Where's the "obvious" tag?
2002-04-28 03:47:32 AM
Just wait till some h4x0r releases the "nude patch" for the game.

up up down down left right left right b a b a START!
2002-04-28 04:05:39 AM
Good luck putting a B or A button on your PS2 controllers. Phybersyko.
2002-04-28 04:20:16 AM
Hmmmm.... I hope to Godd this isn't featured in the Dance Dance Revolution contest at Otakon this year...

Then again, it'd be fun to watch the trademark 500 lb. Sailor Moon cosplayer try to do the Hit Me Baby dance...

::: shudder :::
2002-04-28 04:38:45 AM
Mercurius: Never got into Rurouni Kenshin, for some reason. I don't deny it's probably a great series, though.
Currently watching Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Serial Experiments:Lain.

Dahne: I love that episode myself :D.
2002-04-28 04:50:47 AM
oh god the spice girls did it now britneys doing it how sad can u get

No thanks, I'm still learning Darrin's brand new pop n' lock routine.
2002-04-28 05:57:35 AM
Shugos: I don't know if this game can even be played with a DDR mat. (It might require use of the shoulder buttons or the analog stick - some PS2 games don't even recognize D-pad input.) No, I don't plan to test this myself. I'll probably be embarrassing myself at Otakon, though. I don't weigh 500 pounds, and I'm not going as Sailor Moon, but it should still be worth a laugh or two. ^_^
