One would think that..however my buddy's gal brought back *ahem* pretty good proof of what she was doing in Vegas without him.

/they're no longer together, and luckily a few pills cured it.

Fortunately, since it was a such a small show (about half of the North Hall), from what I saw, there were only like 3 people there(sic), so the risk pool is pretty small. Unfortunately those 3 people probably shook hands with this clown. Oh... I guess just two people, since I didn't talk to him. ;p

Can someone PLEASE explain the "Pray for omarion" references?

I've been seeing that for a while; but I haven't come across an answer in Farkland. And his holy Noodliness is not telling me anything.

I've had Hep A, and it's no picnic. This is one more news article that kind of minimizes its seriousness, I suppose because Hep B and C are even worse.

But their "playful" little sibling damaged my liver and burned 20 pounds off me practically overnight.

/not good, since I only weighed 22 pounds to start with

When I was a kid, that was called 'yellow jaundice' because it turned your skin and eyes yellow. Anyone infected just had to stay home from school for about a week and take meds. One of my friends got it and I visited him and no one was worried about cross infection.

Back then, we put it on level with the Mumps and Chicken Pox.

The condition can last several weeks, but is rarely fatal. It's usually spread by people touching their hands to their mouth after using the bathroom, or by shaking hands with infected people who haven't washed thoroughly.

Calls to mind that thread a few days ago where Farkers proudly proclaimed their lack of hand-washing....

i touch nothing in public bathrooms.

i even open the door with my foot.

I'm with Sitric O'Sanassa. I had Hepatitis A back in 7th grade and it sucked a whole lot of ass. Liver damage, weight loss, jaundice- I know, it's not fatal like Hepatitis C, but I don't think you would downplay it if you had it.

I sent that article to a friend of mine who's an M.D. (internist). She called it "shiatty reporting."

To quote the Doc, "As you know, you can get very ill from Hepatitis A."

Oh, yeah... When I had it, I was thinking that maybe I wouldn't survive, so I ought to go to the nearest funeral home, pick out a nice box, and lie down in it.

Thankya, but one more bout will probably do me in. Unless a person's weight can go into the negative numbers and they're still viable somehow, which I seriously doubt.
