I want a video of this.

I hate to pick, but this happened at Oktoberfest. WTF? Oktoberfest is like a giant block party. People are shocked by this?

2005-09-23 12:52:50 PM
Man, that never happened when I was at the Fest (73-79, 2000, 2002, and 2003)...although I had a great time with a young German lovely named Brigitte at a Fruhlingsfest in Augsburg in 1978...ah, the 70s...

They were later released after
explaining that they had been engaged in a sociological experiment to measure public responses to unexpected behaviour.

...Yeah, I got off using that same excuse last time I tied a giant shark carcas to the front of my car, and rammed schoolbuses with it, naked, covered in grape jelly.

The tourists alerted authorities, who detained the trio. They were identified as a 21-year-old registered nurse, a 25-year-old university student and a 30-year-old political sciences teacher.

There was a guy in a police uniform and another dressed as an indian in the next car.

Why would anyone have objected to the shark's carcass being naked and covered with jelly?

I've seen a video similar to what happened here, but it was set in Sweden, and the casual observers seemed to find it entertaining.

Breaching experiments are so 1965. The project started and ended with Harold Garfinkel's work, and anybody doing them since then is just looking for attention.

/Phd student in sociology.
//Wishes he could get in on some of these people's experiments.

Did someone say Anna Faris?

But what did they expect to see on a ferris wheel at Oktoberfest? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically...

2005-09-23 03:32:19 PM
Whats wrong with a porno shoot?? After all, where else are you going to find people who so OBVIOUSLY enjoy their work?

Can you imagine this excuse working anywhere else?

But officer, I was just banging her on the Ferris Wheel FOR SCIENCE!

Oh, okay then, have a nice day!

2005-09-23 03:52:31 PM
I got a hummer on a Ferris Wheel once, was looking down at the police smiling and waving and they had no idea...

2005-09-23 03:53:15 PM
Well, she, for one, was hoping everyone else in the compartment would join in, so she could fill up every orifice twice.

"Experiment".... sigh.

Anyway, who saw Primetime last night? (I think it was Primetime) They had "an experiment" on there, where a guy and a girl were arguing in a park, her sitting on the bench, him standing over her, getting up in her face, screaming at her, grabbing her chin and whipping her head around when she wasn't looking at him, pushing her back into the seat when she tried to get up and walk away, she's in tears....

Both actors, whole point being to test people's reactions. And, predictably, their reactions were pathetically inadequate. Ignore / pretend to ignore / keep on walkin' / throw dirty looks and keep on walkin'....

That sort of thing.

I suppose they would have considered the experiment a success if someone had broken the guys legs with a baseball bat....?

The problem with public displays of "social experiments" is that you're imposing your experiment on a public that might not want any part of it. Just ask Prof. Milgrim.

Anyway, good for them, not ashamed of their bodies, sexually free, good little students, bold and pioneering research, that's hawt, 'I would have spooged in her eye', etc etc blah blah.

2005-09-23 03:53:18 PM
You'll find no bigger fan of the first amendment than I, but damnit, arniebuteft, I think that .gif needs to be censored.

/not a prude
//threw up a little...

2005-09-23 03:53:37 PM
Suck it up and enjoy the view, it was an all adult event right?

I thought they were supposed to be more liberal sexually over there anyway.

2005-09-23 04:03:20 PM
how does this get grenlit without pictures ??

2005-09-23 04:05:58 PM
Stupid Germans...keeping all the good experiments to themselves.

So_it_goes: Did someone say Anna Faris?

No, but thanks for making this thread a lot more interesting. :)

I'm gonna have to try that 'sociological experiment' excuse myself.

2005-09-23 04:23:58 PM
Damn talk about awkward
I mean seeing a threesome spontaniously break out in front of you would be unexpected to say the least
I hope they at least invited them to join in
/hey it would have fit with your typical prono plot ;P
