This is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken for this contest. I don't know why but it just seems to sum up a point in time in lifes journey to me. The original dosn't have the horrible banding at the top from compressing the image so much and looks very nice as a 16x20 print. If you want to get the same dreamy quality that in on the bottom half of the pic just take a technical pen and make small dots on a piece of acetate, use as filter.

Below is the set up so you don't think I just pasted a door into a pic.

this is one of my all time favourite landscapes; taken while waiting for the Ferry at Gibson's Landing on the Sunshine Coast with my trusty Pentax K1000, badly scanned and healing tool used for to make nice so no votination enabled

one of my favourite places to wander, the woods near my cottage on the south shore. it's a 6 second exposure at f7 with 2 neutral density filters stacked on the lens to allow for a longer exposure in bright daylight

that pic is really trippy, for some odd reason the water reminds me of putting food coloring in frosting...mmm molasses cookies.

thanks ch4r7ie! it was my first time out with the ND filters. i think the low forest light was in my favour ;o)

Spruce Run, Clinton NJ, 11:53PM. No editing except for cropping and resizing. Rebel XT on bulb with a 50mm macro lense focused on infinity.

I wish it was, at the time I took them the water was actually so low I could walk through it...If I didn't mind sidestepping all the crayfish everywhere.
