OK, I am 27 and still collect Star Wars guys like I did when I was 3, but I gotta draw the line at evaluating the articulation of Bossk's ammunition pack.

This figure is called:

The Star Wars fan.

Quit giving this senile nut your money.

Yea verily, and the Geeks did rejoice, for the Lord sought fit to reveal the condition list for Star Wars toys.

There was much merrymaking and psalms among the Slashdot crowd, yea verily.

eager fans were lined up at midnight to buy these action figures where i live; i wanted so bad for the reporter to ask, "hey, where's your girlfriend?" but it doesn't matter because i know what the answer would be.

Uhh, if you develop a rating system that gives basically the same score to every item, change the rating system.

"Bizaarest of all, however, is the fact that you can turn the card up and see her bare legs and panties! Too wild, it reminds me of "Party Angela" from the Spawn line of toys. Still a nice figure, I can't wait to see other outfits."

Get a life. I'll bet the sight of her panties gave him a h4rd 0n.

I was not going to buy the Anakin figure originally, there is something that freaks me out about a toy of a small child, I don't know what!

PROBLEMS.....

I'd have a hard-on if I saw Natalie Portman wearing panties that were painted on...

The Hasbro rep was at Wal-Mart today checking the shelving of these pieces of plastic shiat. You could see the woody and he had a trail down his pants leg.

I still have all the magazines/trading cards/comics from the original Star Wars. Wish I would have kept the figures, gave them to my little brother to actually play with, what was I thinking?
Cheers,
Dawg

I blew all my figures up with firecrackers when I was a kid....god me and my friends were destructive...but it was cool to see plastic legs and arms go flying through the air heh heh

2002-04-23 05:16:14 PM
I used to blow mine up with firecrackers or shoot them with a BB gun... There was a certain spot on GI Joe figures on the pelvis that if you hit it just right with a BB they would explode. you had to hit and shatter that pelvic piece and the little rubber band thingy would shoot the guy in the air while all his body parts flew off. yay.

I hate people who call fans of something, "sheep".
That idiotic phrase could be applied to anything: movies, tv shows, music, sports teams, political parties, religions, favorite food, or even something as simple as thinking that sunsets are pretty.
If you're living in a modern society and there's NOT ONE POPULAR THING that appeals to you, maybe it's time to go back to your wooden shack and continue writing that Manifesto...

The original jedi figures look better than these new pieces of crap. THey charge like 8 or 9 bucks for them. McFarlane figures cost about the same, and they are twice the size, and have 5 times the detail.

2002-04-23 10:24:50 PM
Ah, just go out and get some of those re-release GI Joes. Detailed, durable, playable, and infinitely cool. I miss having a decent SnakeEyes figure...

How does the Queen Ameleia get a play value of 4? And how does the Obiwan without a sword, get a higher play value than the Obi wan witha sword? Stupid/.

2002-04-24 01:48:53 AM
Silverblt69 ummm... I'll give you $5 for the whole lot, and thats pretty generous. Well seriously, if your talking about the original toys from 1977-1983 you could probably get somewhere around $100 for the Millenium Falcon still in the box, maybe $30-$40 for the open one. And the carded figures will range from $20-$50 depending on the character and the quality of the packaging.

But that $5 dollar offer is still open if you wanna be charitable, its all I got.

2002-04-24 10:51:45 PM
I give the queen amadalia a play value of like 11/10 cause you can see up her dress... Mmmm, natalie portman...

Sadly enough I have every one of those carded figures, and 95% of the classic green cards and orange cards and EUs and some of the ones with coins and even a couple dozen original series from early 80's and late 70's. All mint, all on mint cards with crystal clear bubbles. The old ones are even unpunched cards. First $3500 gets it all delivered to your doorstep... I need to pay back student loans.

So Sorry "PolloDiablo"...I was just curious....The toys were from the original Star Wars, left behind by my late brother. The are now my son's,but he cannot have them until he reaches 30,or 35.........he is only 6 now....along with other collectibles(such as my Grandfathers baseball card collection (Yes,in mint condition too)....But thanks for the offer anyhow....$5.00 would buy that ice-cold six pack of Samuel Adams I've been thinking about.......
