putita_caliente: Yes, the scale is 10 micrometers (10um, 10e-6)

I have a cheap microscope that hooks up to a computer I bought for my daughter. It's pretty cool but I would love to someday buy a lab grade one to play with myself. It's amazing what you can find.

FarkinNortherner and neonstz: Those are incredible. When all is said and done, I'd be interested in the technical details. Talk about great use of a fisheye, neonstz! :)

CuddleButt: SpinStopper: Did I use mine in more than one contest?

I think you may have. Just don't do it again. The guy that did it last time is STILL in the hospital. ;) :P

I don't mean to be a whining ninny, but haven't some of the pictures posted by ch4r7ie been in here before? I could have sworn I saw the pair of double exposure pictures last week.

/Still think ch4r7ie has awesome pictures

Oh, and I think that the Human Form contest is a great idea. I'll just have to find some pictures for it.

I could have sworn I saw the pair of double exposure pictures last week.

You may have seen him post them in one of the discussion threads, I do believe it's the first time he's used them in a contest.

putita_caliente: Is your Boobies a product of lithography or micromachining? Whatever it is, the aspect ratios are pretty nice. Is that SU-8???

Scudder - that is off the hook too! Not so abstract but a beautiful image. Damn.

A ceiling in a home. I've seen this technique in more than one home - I'm not sure why the stalagtites are so large for a home ceiling. The original color was supposed to be green, but emissions from kerosene heaters had discolored most surfaces a shiny brown or bronze.

A Thumbnail of the same, in case I. Shack cuts bandwith

Here is another thumbnail in the same house.

It seems that everytime I go down this road in Georgetown County, SC, there are more and more reflectors. The framing is not the best, but I don't know the temperment of the homeowner so I don't get out and spend lots of time admiring his art. He may be crazy for all I know!

Thumbnail...just in case....

Hope you enjoy some of the weird things I see!
