When I took my EMT final test, they had a printed card that asked, "Do you like to rub against people?" "Are you a sexoholic?"
All I had to do was check "No" and that was it.

why is the EMT in the hospital room? isn't their job done as soon as they get the patient to the hospital? and i refuse to believe that this EMT didn't have some sort of partner and he responded to this chicks call all by himself. something just doesn't seem right here. i don't want to blame the girl too quickly, but somethings not right and i'll need some more info before i believe this 18 year old chick over the 12 year veteren EMT.

I agree that there is something fishy about this story. I thought that once the EMTs brought the patient to the hospital, they turned the patient over to the ER personnel and either went back to their station or to another call if need be. Also, where was the EMT's partner when this was allegedly going on? As far as I know, there are always at least two EMTs per call, one is in back with the patient, the other is driving when they are transporting a patient to a hospital. Do they do it differently in NY?

Or...this guy has been an EMT for 12 years. How many other women has he done this to that didn't have the courage of this young woman to speak out against her aggressor? This should be a class action lawsuit against the hospital and city.

Yeah, I don't want to automatically doubt the supposed victim here, but this story stinks.

The guy probably made a racial joke at the girl's expense, undoubtedly related to her pregnancy at 18. She was offended. She came up with these charges. The allegations are incredibly unrealistic, unless the EMT guy was on LSD.

Something stinks in this one. Lots more to this story than they printed. When I was an EMT we'd occasionally get some whacked out gal that would want to fark you on the way to the psyche ward. Never touched one, man that's just asking for trouble.

Seems a little odd. I have a friend whos an EMT and they always have a partner. One person drives the other attends, thats how it works. I've been in quite a few hospitals and have never seen an EMT go beyond the emergency admittance area let alone into a hospital room.

Honestly, in cases like this, there shouldn't be any disciplinary action taken against the EMT unless there's some actual evidence corroborating this girl's story.

People make shiat up. Especially crazy female people. It's just her word that he did it. She could have claimed he offered her illegal narcotics, too, and there'd be no proof of it.

The more I think about this the less sense it makes. Why would he grab her in the hospital? If he was going to grab her then he would have done it in the ambulance where there are no witnesses.
