The entire American League eastern division is atrocious this year.

Every real team in the AL East (that means everybody but the Devil Rays) has what it takes to be better than every team in the NL West, everybody in the NL Central except for St Louis. You may think that they get free wins from all the times they play Tampa Bay, but think of how good the Orioles or Jays would be if they weren't playing the Yankees and Red Sox seemingly every other week.

Just like the Yankees, this guy was in freefall. I'm not saying it was on purpose - just like the Yanks, HE COULD NOT HELP IT. It was a natural result of being choked by the neck.

The important thing is that the Yankees lost.

I wasn't paying full attention to Sportscenter, but I'm almost positive they did a little followup and it said he jumped intentionally and police would be filing charges??

Fifteen feet? I was there... try 40. I was sitting on the first base side by the foul pole. This happened when one of the White Sox was stealing second. Next thing we know, a guy is sitting on top of the net. So, in the two Yankees games that I've gone to, they've scored 13 runs in one inning and had a guy fall onto the net. Wonder what game #3 will bring?

Actually, out of the five teams in the AL East, the Jays have the best record against the other four (Boston, New York, Baltimore, and Tampa Bay). For some reason we can't beat teams like Kansas City. WTF?

hehehe... my Lefty roommate (and die-hard baseball/Yankee fan) had the same lament, he was left-handed,...if he could only throw over 65 mph, 2-mil a year... 5 innings a week...
