I'm blue badabee badaa boo.
2005-08-06 02:02:57 AM
Hmm. I would have said Thriller...because I have yet to meet one person that can't sing along with Michael-- whether they want to or not, or even realize they know the words.

A moment of silence please: for the days when MJ wasn't falling apart literally and figuatively.
2005-08-06 02:03:18 AM
Geez, how much did Hardee's pay Yahoo? Every time I go there I see the 'watch the Paris Hilton commercial' ad.

Paint It Black

This just in, a magazine you never heard of has come up with yet another popular culture list, that lazy-ass excuse for journalism. Further research reveals that those items included are no worse, no better than hundreds of others which could have been mentioned. We now return you to your lives, minus five minuted you shall never, ever retrieve.
2005-08-06 02:03:40 AM
Why do they do this???
2005-08-06 02:03:51 AM
How many votes for "The Breakup Song?" Was that J. Geils Band?
2005-08-06 02:04:04 AM
Anything by the 1108 Thugz

'Step By Step' by New Kids on the Block

It introduced the world the horror of the modern boy band.

2005-08-06 02:06:38 AM
i want to be the very best
Like no one ever was
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause
I will travel across the land
Searching far and wide
Teach Pokemon to understand
The power that's inside
Gotta catch 'em all--
It's you and me
I know it's my destiny
Ooooh, you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
Gotta catch 'em all--
Our hearts so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I'll teach you
Gotta catch 'em all!
Gotta catch 'em all!
SONG: Team Rocket's Motto
Prepare for trouble!
Make it double!
To protect the world from devastation!
To unite all peoples within our nation!
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
That's right!

It's off to the show in the limo
Before the show gotta
Make that dough
Pay them girls what
They worth, slip that
Money under that skirt
Take it off baby let me see
You might get a little
More loot chi-chi
String-havin thats so much fun
Playin' that side
Between them buns
Shorty got it on like moms
Teasin' me and
She know I'm starvin
Lick you up then
Like you down
But I ain't finished girl
Turn around
Like you up and down
Your back cause
I'm that freaky
I'm freaky like that
Freak Nasty wanna
See can y'all do this
Right like me

I put my hand upon your hip
When I dip you dip we dip
You put your hand upon my hip
When you dip I dip we dip
I put my hand upon your hip
When I dip you dip we dip
You put yours and I put mine
Then we can dip down low
And roll it round
2005-08-06 02:09:28 AM
gotta say...The Hurricane is a damn good song.
2005-08-06 02:09:40 AM
On the Road!??
A good read, sure, but world-changing?
I would have to vote for Colonel Gadaffi's Green Book.
A simply stunning read.
2005-08-06 02:09:57 AM
I have been drinking, but why is this headline more centered on the page?
2005-08-06 02:10:13 AM
Deuchland, Uber Als. It changed the world, but in a bad way.
2005-08-06 02:10:34 AM
2005-08-06 02:11:27 AM
Did Numa Numa make the shortlist?

Msfan: 867-5309

Damn you, Msfan!
2005-08-06 02:11:52 AM
I might of put "Imagine" by Lennon slightly ahead of "Ass like That" By Eminem. But you know, I'm only 23, what do I know?
2005-08-06 02:11:54 AM
I know my world was never the same after hearing The Singing Nun sing "Domini-que -ni-que -ni-que s'en allait tout simplement"
2005-08-06 02:12:06 AM
Bob Dylan? yep.. i pretty much agree 100%

/waits for some kid to get angry at the exclusion of Good Charlotte
2005-08-06 02:12:10 AM
Prefer the Clash, but The Sex Pistol's Anarchy in The UK is worthy.

Bob Dylan impression: nnnnghh...nhghnnnn heynnnnn, whhayynnn

exactly like that. shut it, or I'll gob in ya eye!
2005-08-06 02:12:24 AM
"The Prisoner" was the top-ranking TV series at number 10

Very punny, guys.
2005-08-06 02:14:11 AM
I'm not the first to say it, and i wont be the last; but, who REALLY fakrING GIVES A shiat what a bunch of rockstars and actors opinions are??

Must be a slow news night. It is.
2005-08-06 02:14:39 AM
I can't believe Good Charlotte didn't make the list!
2005-08-06 02:14:52 AM
SoggyKeyboard wins.
2005-08-06 02:15:21 AM
Jasper from Family Guy
i was listening to that as i read your post

There's a reason pop music sounds good. It's homogenized arrangements of repeated patterns that "sound good" to the avg. joe's ear. The synths in Europe's "Final Countdown" have that magnetic *siren (*a sea nymph) effect.

gotta say...The Hurricane is a damn good song.

Agreed, excellent song. I'd think Tangled up in Blue would match Like a Rolling Stone, but I was a mere sac swimmer back then.
2005-08-06 02:16:29 AM
I can't believe the sea nymph didn't make the list!
2005-08-06 02:16:52 AM
Bob Dylan has the world's greatest song?

The people at Yahoo do realize that the word "song" comes from the word "sing", don't they?
2005-08-06 02:17:37 AM
lights out...guerilla radio...turn that shiat up...
2005-08-06 02:17:41 AM
Hmm. I would have said Thriller...because I have yet to meet one person that can't sing along with Michael-- whether they want to or not, or even realize they know the words.
I must have heard that a thousand times by now and I don't know what the words are. My wife was playing some annoying MJ tune in the car--all I could make out was "na nee nah nah nah ohh" over and over. Turns out it was called "Dirty Diana". Still, it's better than the thumping noises that most stations play these days.
2005-08-06 02:18:38 AM

Damn you Jenny
