When I grow up, I want to be a billboard.

Omis channeling Ralph Wiggum? inquiring minds want to know.

Toronto had a living billboard last winter (i think) set up in a specially-built 18-wheeler. 4 models lounging around in a beach scene. nice work if you can get it ...

slight correction ...

It says "Jyounetsu wo seisu mono ga GAME wo seisu."

you seem to know a pisspotful about Japanese pop culture, but i'd be careful about calling yourself a Japan expert; try living there for a few years first. still, nice translation. i didn't get it at first.

Bukharin,
Jennifer Government was fantastic! I work for a major advertising agency and am reluctant to recommend it to anyone around here...they'd probably fap their way through it.

I havent read any of Barry's other books, but I think Jennifer Government is as visionary now as NETWORK was back in the 70's.

Case in point:
Look at the 'viewer voting' and 'reality TV' of today as compared to Network's predictions.

Now look at how sports fields and parks have corporate names, with talks of schools... light rail lines... etc. all in the works.

My, My... how frequent flyers have changed the world.

It was a Delta Airlines live billboard in June 1997 -- I have a pic of it.

Ugh. Like how the Knickerbocker Arena is now the Pepsi Arena, and the Rosemont Horizon is now the Allstate Arena?

/lol, "Malibu"

Yeah, this isn't the first. I remember one for Tylenol that had someone on a treadmill.

Yeah, the airline ad for bigger seats was in Manhattan. I don't remember what airliner it was for, though. And it's been on RealTV or Max Xposure or one of those crap shows lately.

So if the models are supposed to give off the illusion of 24hr party central, then they should be praised for drinking and risque behavior.
Q: What's a party without drinking and risque behavior????
A: Bible study group

NO THANKS

Young models on the billboard have been instructed to create an illusion of a big party 24 hours a day.
