You're in the past though. I don't remember seeing the Devils go deep into the last playoffs. And I don't remember them dominating the Flyers either. They *were* a good (if dull) team (and singlehandedly almost ruining the sport to do it). I'd say the Wings were by far a better team though. Any team that can sleepwalk through the season like they did is just scary. We can agree to disagree.

Despite their faults (and yes they have them) the Flyers have one thing the Devils don't.

Let's see how they like making Blue collar wages like the CFL pays it's football players. That league's been around for a long time and produces players just as good as the NFL does, not to mention fun to watch.

emgeneratr - i'm sure you won't read this, cause it's abotu two days later, but anyway. the devils lost in the second round in 04, which is not too terrible, and i can't be living too far in the past if we won the second to last cup.

yes the flyers have a lot more fans than the devils, but the fans we do have really care, and i think that's just as important. i personally have been a diehard devil fan since i was 6.

did the red wings put out better 'teams' than teh devils year after year? maybe. they were more exciting and there's no denying the higher level of talent, but i don't know if that makes for a better team. in the end i'd say they were very equal and if we have tohave a tiebreaker, i'll go with heads up play, and we all remember what happened in 95.

as for the name calling, i was being a troll myself on purpose, i gotta admit i like baiting flyer fans from time to time. but that's only because i respect the flyers a lot. devil-flyer games over the years are some of the best i've watched/been too, i hope that continues. so, yes, let's agree to disagreee.
