Should've tried jumping over him like they do on that there televisions.

2005-07-06 04:32:58 PM
Are we supposed to be surprised he can't ride a bike?

This is news ?

bah. fark always greenlights harmless bush threads. It lets childish lefties go silly, and self-satisfied conservatives smugly chuckle and dismiss all liberals.

2005-07-06 04:33:42 PM
Why do two-wheeled vehicles hate America?

2005-07-06 04:34:03 PM

"I meant to do that."

john_frink,

If I remember correctly, Kerry crashed into a secret service agent while snowboarding and gave the guy a tongue lashing/scolding. Bush crashes into a guy and spends time to make sure he's OK.
So..um..why don't you...well..blow it out of your ass!

His pump got caught on his trouser leg...

bass555 wins the thread. Great West Wing reference.

terrible headline

article gave me a chuckle though.

I'm so ashamed that man represents this country.

Why the hell is this considered news? America deserves this man.

2005-07-06 04:35:54 PM
Don't be so hard on him. I've fallen off my Mountain Bike several times. When you ride hard, that sort of thing happens. It's kind of like Tiger Woods chipping out of a sand trap. He's a pro at golf, but still makes mistakes.

2005-07-06 04:35:57 PM
I'm sure he expected the other guy to move out of the way.

At least he doesn't have to worry about brain damage.

2005-07-06 04:36:51 PM
Who is John Kerry and why should I give a damn about him? He's not the guy who started a war!

2005-07-06 04:37:24 PM
"Bush suffered scrapes on his hands and arms that required bandages by the White House physician,"

What a wuss. Wasn't he supposed to be a tough guy?

2005-07-06 04:37:29 PM
unless he dies, please keep him outta the news, mkay?

2005-07-06 04:38:05 PM
So he can't eat a pretzel, and now he can't bike.. methinks it's drydrunkdom.

2005-07-06 04:38:12 PM
I wish someone would comment about Bush's intelligence.

2005-07-06 04:38:16 PM
Here's the solution. He can take them off when he feels confident enough to ride a two-wheeler all by himself.

2005-07-06 04:38:17 PM
It lets childish lefties go silly,

I know you are but what am I?

These pretzels Pee Wee pics are making met thirsty making me giggle

It lets childish lefties go silly, and self-satisfied conservatives smugly chuckle and dismiss all liberals.

Yeah. 'Cuz that's exactly what conservatives do when you disparage Saint George. Smugly chuckle. Yup.

butfarker

I hate to break it to you, but the guy that Bush collided with was from Scotland. Thus, Kerry would not have been able to fire him had Kerry been President. No matter how much the PotUS might want someone fired, if they aren't American then the President has no control. Plus it would be ahighly stupid move in terms of international opinion to even request that the officer resign. So as much as we may laugh at Bush for his lack of physical grace, no President would be that Earth-shakingly stupid. Leave your flame-bait at home.

2005-07-06 04:38:32 PM
Bet Prez Ford is wondering how this klutz isn't all over SNL like he was for his stuff. Maybe Chevy can come back and have a "fall-off" between Ford and Bush.
Robot Cheney would have f-bombed him back to the stone age.
//Just proves Bush is a nice guy but as president is a puppet.

2005-07-06 04:38:58 PM
You'd think that given previous bike mishaps, the Secret Service would have gotten the prez some training wheels.

2005-07-06 04:39:45 PM
Seriously, why does he keep doing stupid stuff like this over and over again? Does he have a problem with his sense of balance or what?

2005-07-06 04:40:01 PM
gave the guy a tongue lashing/scolding.

Either a tongue lashing or a tossed salad, I can't remember.

2005-07-06 04:40:15 PM
he is not a graceful man is he.

2005-07-06 04:40:36 PM
What the hell is that headline supposed to mean?

2005-07-06 04:40:42 PM
Man oh man, you Bush-haters are such a nasty bunch. None of you have ever taken a spill on a bike? Are you still using training wheels or something?!

2005-07-06 04:40:46 PM
Eh. I don't like Bush at all, but if you get on a bicycle, you're eventually going to fall off. Ask any experienced cyclist. Even Lance falls now and then. This didn't happen to Clinton, Bush I, et al. only because they didn't ride bikes around while they were in office.

2005-07-06 04:40:56 PM
I'd think he wrote the headline but I'v enever heard him talk in the 3rd person...

seriously terrible stuff submitter. Inexplicable even.

2005-07-06 04:40:57 PM
It is obvious that this so-called police officer is a terrorist. He is a foreigner and speaks with some ungodly accent. What more proof do you need?

2005-07-06 04:41:38 PM
I understand he scraped his hands but as he's long used to having blood on them I figure it's business as usual.

Do you suppose news.yahoo.com feels the same way? :^P

b1t r0t: Can someone translate the headline to English?

no, its just that doing two things at a time is _stretching it_ a bit to far for the old presidential brain...

Fish_Bulb: I wish someone would comment about Bush's intelligence.

There you go !

dougermouse:
Just proves Bush is a nice guy but as president is a puppet.

Yes. Crashing a bike proves that Bush is a puppet president.

Huh?

2005-07-06 04:42:29 PM
I think he's trying to immitate the other President.

2005-07-06 04:42:43 PM
I think he's used to daddy running along behind him.

2005-07-06 04:42:50 PM
In an era of complete disgrace the U.S. Presidency has become,
it is truly scary to know W is a dumbass to the bone.

That may instinctly prove he is NOT running the country as his title dictates. Sadly, it makes you ponder which is worse?

Impeach George "weekend at Dubya's" Bush & Co.

If I remember correctly, Kerry crashed into a secret service agent while snowboarding and gave the guy a tongue lashing/scolding.

Close... but no cigar!

Kerry referred to him as a "son of a biatch", never said anything directly to the SS agent. Not that this distinction makes it better, in fact it might make it worse since Kerry lacked the balls to say it to the guys face.

I am a firm believer that close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Other than showing that you have amazingly low standards, what's your point?

2005-07-06 04:44:08 PM
john_frink:

I think the motivation of people saying "what Kerry would have done" has to do with the fact that when Kerry fell off his skiis, and i think another time off his roller blades or bike or something, he called the secret service guy he ran into an "asshole" and said "I don't fall, he knocked me down."

On the other hand, Bush's first reaction was to ask the cop if he was ok.
