I think you meant prophet
2002-04-12 08:58:52 AM
no no, i'm sure it was profit. otherwise, why in the hell would his widow have green-lighted that disgusting grinch movie?
2002-04-12 09:58:30 AM
Dr. Seuss? Definitely profit. The headline was corrected, it originally said 'profit', in case Bob ends up looking like an idiot. :)
2002-04-12 10:57:14 AM
yeah, I changed it from profit to prophet
2002-04-12 10:58:28 AM

Farrakhan's a prophet and I think you ought to listen to
What he can say to you, what you ought to do"
Follow for now, power to the people say,
"Make a miracle. D, pump the lyrical"
Black is back, all in, we're gonna win
Check it out, yeah y'all, here we go again
2002-04-12 11:02:45 AM
mmm... greeen egggs
2002-04-12 11:02:50 AM
Why the hell would someone post an title like that to that article and then have it labelled as "unlikely"? It's contradictory.

Look what we found at the park
Look what we found in the dark

Wonder if they taste like regular eggs? Not that I would like to test though...

Bantam chickens lay blue, green or pink eggs as long as it's warm enough outside. Now grocery store white eggs--those are disturbing. Why would something that came from a chicken's ass ever naturally be the color of Vanna White's teeth?
2002-04-12 11:07:50 AM
Must have been due to those evil Bush environ-mental laws

But I love the headline. "Mystery Chicken Lays Green Egg" - Apparently the identity of the chicken has yet to be determined.

FLA Chickie: Show us your boobies! (ducks)
2002-04-12 11:09:09 AM
Now the hard part. Green pigs to produce the green ham.
2002-04-12 11:09:54 AM
Zog: If I remember the story correctly, only the eggs are green.
2002-04-12 11:10:21 AM
Aracauna (sp?) chickens lay eggs in various shades of green and blue. We had exotic poultry when I was a kid (wuz a young 'un). This woman probably has a bird with that gene making an appearance.
My favorite, though, were the eggs that could run around on their little legs.

You star-bellied Sneeches with your profit/prophet antics crack me up. Thanks.

Dr. Seuss was an architect previous to his career as a prophet.

A few years ago Jesse Jackson (who once read part of Green Eggs on SNL) appeared on a Chicago morning show to MAKE green eggs and ham.

If you put a little grape jelly in with the eggs, they turn green and the purple disappears. Better living through chemistry.
