I was 6 or 7 when I saw this movie. I had nightmares for weeks, and I still don't like to go into the basement at night (yes, I'm a wuss)

that must have been one heck of a crash to kill the UPS driver... those things are tanks and the driver is generally positioned higher up than others. probably was a side impact crash...

In Indiana, Channel 4 (WTTV) used to show C.H.U.D. every Christmas Day for some reason. My brothers and I would watch it every year. It was like a weird tradition. They stopped showing it in the early '90s when some religious types finally complained.

Anyway, Court TV's web site has more details on this case. The only sad thing is the guy has kids.

Now the C.H.U.D.s will come for them.

this reminds me of the time we visited deSoto Caverns.
The tour terminated at an underground lake stocked with fish, however, the cave continued on for quite some way.

The tour guide explained that the tour stopped at that point by agreement, but with who (or what) he wouln't explain.
