Unlike many, I am attempting to be NICE, dammit.
The remark, I REPEAT, was to reference the IDIOT in the picture.

Now get off back back, you wanker.

And I mean that in the sweetest of regards.

It's like being in a classroom full of petulant children and no yardstick to be found.

It's amazing how someone so full of his own grammatical superiority will make the most daft of mistakes. I apologize for the misfire of my remark in regards to "imbicility".

I still, however, think you're an arrogant turd who really needs to put the dictionary down and have a drink.

I mean that in the nicest of ways, of course!

Missing a FARK cliche is indicative of morol moral decay and a blatant disregard for the well being of our nation and probably hints at perverse sexual predilections and a dubious ancestry. Or it could be an innocent actuality. But where's the fun in that?

And, just for the fraggin record, because someone misses a "Fark Cliche" doesn't mean they are "Noobs" or clueless. It just means we may have missed your precious joke or it rated so low on the radar as to be a forgotten attempt at humour.

Well it works like this-

First, find a funny pic or quip. Second, post it til the mere sight makes one like to gag. Third, flame anyone who posts the gag-making til the quip/pic dies its (much deserved) death.
Last, flame anyone who did not witness the life cycle of the fark-cliche because you are an obvious noob.

Wait, who made Clinton's private life into a public embarassment, costing millions in taxpayer dollars?

Right. Just thought I'd clear that up.

I believe a non-partisan viewpoint would see plenty of blame for both sides of the aisle.

Ever since the whole Bush Jr. National Guard Vietnam thing started, I've wondered how many of those who's criticized him for it have also criticized Bill Clinton for his trying to avoid going to Vietnam. To not do so would be hypocritical.

No, not really. Not at all. Clinton was honest he went to college (had a Rhodes Scholarship so not sure how much that counts as finangling a cheap way out of the war), and never tried the moral superiority soldier stuff Bush has.

Why is the Federal Government in competition with the market to begin with

I thought the postal service was originally a public service (i.e. provided by the government) going back to Ben Franklin. Wouldn;t that be the private sector getting into compitition with government?

Besides, there are already a number of instances where the two can overlap. Private ambulance companies for example.

Wow, it's almost like I'm talking to a non-Neonazi version of Rush Limbaugh! I love those kind of people. Up late at night, flipping through the dictionary... boredom... boredom... boredom... WAIT! You've found a great word!

Golly, I'll bet you can't wait to use it the next day in some manner of insulting context! Using big words makes you feel SO smart, and makes everyone else feel so imbicilic.

You, sir, should run for a political office. I don't care what ticket you run on. Anyone that outwardly pompous (at least in text) deserves some manner of political office. I'll bet that in some counties, they've got an office specifically for you. "Chairman of Big Words Board" or somesuch. You'd get PAID to do what you like!

Oh, and I don't believe in Spellcheck.

Now, let's get this puppy back on topic, as it was derailed by your railing. Hmm. There's no way to get THIS response on topic, so I'll have to include something by crawlspace. Keep in mind, I'm not comparing you or associating you (PresidentPutz) with this (crawlspace) douche.

No the fact that you live in Canada doesn't make your opinions invalid, just your motives suspect.

History has heard things like this before, however I prefer to look at things on a case by case basis, and I don't think you can apply this here. Marriage is a benefit (no marrige jokes please) granted by government. To extend this benefit to a group who isn't currently receiving this benefit that doesn't fit in the same metric as it's intent is not depriving someone of a right. Not everyone is entitled to marrige benefits, you have to do a specific thing, we are just honing our definition.

BTW, you are wrong about the polls. Even in blue states marriage is being defined M + W. Again, I DON'T agree, but I agree with the process.

Let's see... A war generally causes those who enlist for a free ride not to enlist. Makes sense to me.

The same thing happened when I was in Bosnia, except we didn't need stop loss orders because we had very few boots on the ground, and of course, it was undereported due to who was in the White House at the time.

It pays to have friends in the newsrooms.

The typical rule is that once someone mentions a current or former world leader in a thread, he or she becomes fair game to make fun of, and refusing to point out Clinton's stupidity at making his private life a public embarrassment seems rather hypocritical, even if you dislike Bush.

I'm not a Rightard, I just play one on Fark, is that what that means? I don't give two turds what your positions are, what your party affilliation might be.

You were the first one here to yell "BJ!", in a thread that has nothing to do with Clinton's sex life.

refusing to point out Clinton's stupidity at making his private life a public embarrassment seems rather hypocritical, even if you dislike Bush.

"Refusing to point out"? What in the King Fark is that supposed to mean? That is a masterwork of NONSENSE is what that phrase is. Particuarly when the conversation had nothing to do with it at that time.

I went to the store today, I "refused" to point out to the cashier what a moran our President seems to be. Yay for me, I guess.

Well yes and no, Marriage isn't a right it's a privelige. And the government has the right who is eligible to gain that privlege. If they say it's a man and a woman that doesn't discriminate per se, it's saying what the neccessary requirement is. Granted homosexual people can't meet that requirement, but that doesn't mean it's discrimination.

I think it's sad that so many were milking the government and now whine about their commitment.

"whine about their commitment"?

They've served the time they signed up for. Not too many other contracts I can think of allow one signatory to change the terms/duration, and not the other.

And as far as "milking the government", you won't get far with that sentiment from Veterans of either political persuasion.

When you serve, you earn it.
