I actually have a boom boom system. However, when I pull up to a red light I do have the courtesy to turn it down. Unless there's another boom boom who doesn't turn it down. For example, the Civic I pulled up next to the other night that had the rattling license plate (mine doesn't, thank you very much) I proceeded to PWN him with a nice helping of Final Countdown through my much superior system.

whenever I'm pounding my stereo it's at night in non-residential areas or on the highway. it's the people with the same stereos who have them on from when they leave the house until they get home that the police should crack down on.

I have a nice little system in my car, but I rarely crank it unless people are on their cell phones and driving like shiate. As usual there are many other things for pigs to worry about.

1. GOOD. The super-bass idiots aren't listening to music because they want to hear music, anyway. They're doing it to make OTHER people listen to their music. It's an assault.

I live in the inner city, surrounded by loud stereos literally 24/7. I am saving every penny to get the hell out of here, and get a place far away from the scum that think they have a right to assault others with their own choice of sounds, whenever they happen to feel like it.

If I want to study or get resful sleep, I have to use ear-plugs, and that's only partly effective. the low frequency base goes right through walls, and closed windows. So this "minor-problem-not-worth-worrying-about", affects getting proper sleep, or studying to better yourself to get a better job. so it is NOT minor.
