I would hope people aren't that dumb, there last album was #1, and they still pulled in huge stadiums, with really high ticket prices when Waters left. I understand REO Speedwagon doing Bar Mitzvahs and shiat, but this is Pink Floyd one of the biggest bands of the rock genre. If Led Zep got back together they'd do just as well.

The thing that irritates me the most about Paris Hilton is that there are suddenly all these shows and clips of hosts and commentators saying that the public LOVES the BEAUTIFUL Paris Hilton.

I don't want to be more mean that is justified, but she's neither particularly beautiful (especially with that weird eye) nor does she seem to be loved by that many people. The few people that do love her seem to only do so because they're the sorts of people that are in awe of rich people abusing their wealth. Paris Hilton has little talent, nor is she stunning to look at (and, not that it matters, she has less brain power than the average hamburger flipper at McDonalds.)

That said, more power to her if she can sustain a career on hype and the aura of money. If I could pull that off myself, I'm not going to say I wouldn't do it. So to give her her due, she's a fairly attractive woman that has a successful career due to her ability to generate attention and media buzz. But beatiful and loved?? Hardly.
