Rear-ending someone is failure to control speed, and is an automatic ticket.

Except for her, of course. Any cop who gives her a ticket is threatening his own job.

You really don't understand Florida, do you? Law enforcement in Florida hates her. The government is controlled by Republicans, who hate her. The only Democratic seats of power in Florida are, pretty much, Orange County and Miami-Dade- and they hate Reno in Miami-Dade for following international law and returning Elian Gonzalez to his father.

My friend is the cop who gave her the ride to Key West

NO real cop would piss on her to put her out if she were on fire.

Love how the Spin Drs. are already re-writing American History about Waco. Reno herself admitted that the death of the children was her fault and Clinton pronptly administered a group hug making her feel well enough to not quit her job. Hey after all, it was just some hicks right and we DID have to test those tanks.

The Elian army with MP-5 sub-machine guns at the ready showed Reno's tender side. Every police over-reaction that happens today is based on her storm-trooper tactics.

You rear end another car, you get a ticket. It's called not being in control of your vehicle (been there, done that). Plus, the other vehicle was STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT. Hello, earth to Janet. What the fark were you doing?

/no mention of a rainbow sticker on her bumper

Okay, so if a bunch of religious fanatics have large stockpiles of weapons,

1.) if they are white Americans, they are heroes that the US Government brutally murdered.

2.) if they are arabs in another country, they are terrorists and the US Government is a hero for killing them before they brutally murder someone.

Got it. Makes perfect sense.

2005-06-11 10:10:27 PM
Actually, fark it, if they were Arabs or muslims in THIS country, your average American's opinion would still coincide with #2.

I saw Janet Reno, in her red pickup. She was headed west, on interstate 60, about 15 miles east of Los Angeles.

I call shenanigans. Not only is there no Interstate 60 in California, there is no Interstate 60 at all.

Murdering whore is a nice name compared to what she did at Waco.

She didn't do anything other than assist a bunch of nutcase terrorists kills themselves off. They got off easy considering they murdered law enforcement officers.

"Reno herself admitted that the death of the children was her fault

Wow, imagine that? Admitting a mistake? Thank God our Republican leaders would never stoop so low.

And for all those saying shiat like "bunch of nutcase terrorists kills themselves off", does that go for the kids that were fried alive also?
Probably the same fuchs saying "I'd hit it" on the Aruba-Holloway thread.

All of this doesnt make Reno any less of a freak though.

A "route" is not an "interstate." Words mean things.

And Route 60 runs through the 'hood. Not just east of LA, but East LA.

Thanks for the Google link, but since I live in LA, I already knew that.

Too bad the murdering whore didn't die.

Why? She'd only go to heaven to hang out with the Waco Branch Davidian kids. David Koresh is still roasting over an open fire in hell though.

Guess burning babies to death and deporting infants doesn't pay too well after all.

OK, we all agree. You ARE a moron.

Let us not forget that J. Reno was the force behind the whole child sex abuse at the day care centers fad. Remember that gubmint propaganda fear campaign? It came between "The commies are gonna get us" and "The terrorists are gonna get us". Nothing ever changes.

have you seen the FLIR camera footage of the waco incident? its very obvious that DEA agents were just shooting anyone that moved. also the gasoline that was spread around wasn't from the branch davidians trying to start a fire. it was spilled from a large storage tank when that CS tank went crashing through everything. they ran a bunch of people over with that thing.

Okay, so if a bunch of religious fanatics have large stockpiles of weapons...

Troll or just stupid? The folks in Waco had about one legally owned rifle per adult. One more time, one rifle per person. I can't see how that constitutes "a large stockpile" unless you're the person who just killed them all and needs spin out a justification.

The IRS certified the Branch Davidians as a church. But "fanatic" sounds so much better after they are dead. Those heavily armed, religious fanatic six year old children put up a hell of a fight!

You're right, words do have meaning; but don't mistake my lack of looking-up the correct term for the 60 (Highway? Intrastate? Route? Expressway?), for "shenanigans".

It happened around the intersection of the 60 and the 605.

I said you wouldn't believe me.

I'm_a_moran

Well, those Waco folks probably did have "one legally owned rifle per adult" when they shot dead four US marshalls and wounded others serving warrents during the initial raids.

As for fanatics, letting your children have sex with your sect leader, AKA minister, sounds pretty fanatical to me. Even Catholic parents were freaked when they found priests fooling around with their kids.

From your slant, you probably think good old boy Tim had plenty of justification to blow up the OK City Federal Building.

First of all, the tanks you are talking about are not tanks but Combat Engineer Vehicles which were called in from Fort Hood to assist in breaching the complex. Take a look again at the footage. Thus, since they are military vehicles from an active formation, they are completely outside of Reno's authority.

Secondly, when you decide to refuse entry of properly documented law enforcement personnel you are risking the health and welfare of yourself and those around you. If the Branch Davidians felt they were being treated unfairly they should have gone through the courts...that's why they are there.

Finally, there are two strategies to deal with a group of people in a fortified position who have no interest in submitting. The government won't cut deals in these situations because they don't want to make it appear that it can be pressured. Thus, you can either lay siege to the place and starve them into submission or you can storm the complex and apprehend the occupents. The fact that, in response to that, the wackos inside ignited the place and forced the rest of the occupents to burn to death is hardly the fault of law enforcement. No one can reasonably think they'd actually know about and expect such an outcome...one which caught everyone by surprise.

he must be referring to Juanita Broaddrick

unless you believe:

"Gennifer Flowers. Paula Jones. Monica Lewinsky. Kathleen Willey. Dolly Kyle Browning. And now, Juanita Broaddrick. Liars, all."

"A Fox poll, following "Dateline's" Broaddrick interview, shows that 54 percent of Americans believe Broaddrick's allegation. Only 23 percent find the charges untrue. And, post-impeachment trial polls show that 84 percent of Americans believe the president both committed perjury and obstructed justice. This means most Americans consider the president a felon and not just a run-of-the-mill felon but a rapist felon."

Oh, my dear friend, I believed Clinton should have been removed from office for commiting perjury.

As for Juanita, she seems the only one to claim she was raped of the numerous affairs Clinton had. Judging from how hard it is to find her even with a Google search, I think she's been pretty much discredited.

CanSomeonePleaseKilltheChristmasShoes

An Alachua County, Florida web site with Max Sloan rambling on about conservative values? You really need to find better references, dude. Even Rush Limbaugh makes more sense than silly Max.

By the way, throwing up a montage of the innocents lost because their nutty parents and other adults kept them trapped while flames consumed them all is pure BS. You focus the blame on Reno instead of those who are truly guilty. As a parent, I'd have gotten the kids outta of there FIRST, instead of holding them hostage as pawns, chump.

/Geez, you two are worthless as tits on a boar hog. Why don't you all go burn a cross someplace?

There is a 1969 charge by a Eileen Wellstone, 19-year-old
English woman who said Clinton assaulted her after
she met him at a pub near the Oxford University
campus where the future President was a student. A
retired State Department employee, who asked not to
be identified, confirmed this week that he spoke
with the family of the girl and filed a report with
his superiors. Clinton admitted having sex with the
girl, but claimed it was consensual. The victim's
family declined to pursue the case; . . . In an interview with Capitol Hill Blue, the retired State Department employee said he believed the story Miss Wellstone, the young English woman who said Clinton raped her in 1969.

''There was no doubt in my mind that this young woman
had suffered severe emotional trauma,'' he said. ''But
we were under tremendous pressure to avoid the
embarrassment of having a Rhodes Scholar charged with
rape. I filed a report with my superiors and that was
the last I heard of it.''

Miss Wellstone, who is now married and lives near
London, confirmed the incident when contacted this week,
but refused to discuss the matter further. She said she
would not go public with further details of the attack.

There's also Miss Arkansas who told friends she was raped by clinton in a car on their way to some event. Rumors went around that she was his mistress back in his Arkansas days. She was interviewed by Jane Pauly twice firsttime denied having sex then admitted having sex(consensual)once. Then she was audited by the IRS just like Juanita Broaderick, Kathleen Willey, Kathleen Prudom(sp?), Paula Jones, Dolly Kyle Browning, Gennifer Flowers. Yep all of them were audited. Nothing to see here just move along.

In 1974, a female student at the University of Arkansas complained that then-law school instructor Bill Clinton tried to prevent her from leaving his office during a conference. She said he groped her and forced his hand inside her blouse. She complained to her faculty advisor who confronted Clinton, but Clinton claimed the student ''came on'' to him. The student left the school shortly after the incident. Reached at her home in Texas, the former student confirmed the incident, but declined to go on the record with her account. Several former students at the University have confirmed the incident in confidential interviews and said there were other reports of Clinton attempting to force himself on female students;

As was said, there is no ticket for "driving without due care and attention"--unless she was drunk or speeding, an accident was an accident.

And... Reno worked for Clinton. Not Bush. Hence, I doubt that Janet Reno would be Bush's "biatch".

And if you implying sexual innuendo involving Clinton with "biatch"... I have to believe there are some places that even Mr. Clinton wouldn't go.

Finally,

It turns out that she recieved no ticket for driving without due care and attention.

Interesting.
Also funny how the arrogant Air Force Vet works for the IRS (he kills (kills and/or killed) people for them, and they pay him).

Nobody mentioned here how Janet got pulled over SEVEN times for drunk driving back in her FLA AG days. (no charges, no problem ever of course) Also no mention of her escapades with (female of course) prostitutes in cars, in school parking lots. (nocharges ever of course)

Killing over 80 people for kix,
raping (a dozen? dozens?) of women,

I guess that's why leftists love the Clinton era so much.

I usually have respect for those "brave warriors" who keep our freedoms in place, but considering the freedom drain over the last oh three administrations your mission failed chump!

One of the "freedoms" (a right actually for the nit-pickers like Devin172 who state tanks are not tanks)we enjoy is no cruel and unusual punishment. 30 or forty children being roasted by Gov't employees surely falls under this heading.

Another "freedom" is right to a trial. Sure some ATF employees died, but guess what? Run around pointing guns at people and sooner or later something bad will happen. That's just a fact of life and if they were not aware of it when they accepted the job (of running around with guns) then it's probably a good thing they are out of the gene pool. The fact that some person or up to 4 persons had the audacity to shoot at people they though were going to kill them does not, in any way, deny them the right to a trial before execution. The children even more so.

If the Branch Davidians felt they were being treated unfairly they should have gone through the courts

You're kidding right? A no-knock full-blown military assault to serve a warrant that could have been done by Officer Friendly is not the way to treat US Citizens. What was the basis? The state of TX had already cleared the child-abuse charges and as far as guns go, I doubt there is a house in TX that doesn't have MORE rifles per person that the Davidians. "Hold on there Mr. Ninja suit, face masked machine gun man, A'hm a callin' my lawyer!"

FYI, they DID contact TX DPS before their phone lines got cut.

The final verdict was that the tank punctured the tanks that was holding generator/lantern fuel. The lanterns were lit because our Gov't had turned off the electricity.

It's also customary to preserve evidence in a "crime scene". Note that bull-dozing everything before a thorough investigation was not standard procedure and amounted to destroying evidence. Seems like the Clintons had a habit of that in the Rose law firm.
