2002-04-08 05:28:08 PM
Once again, the Fed ignores the Constitution
2002-04-08 05:28:44 PM
Not On My Watch.
2002-04-08 05:28:58 PM
Oh man. What a crock of BS. The more I hear about the govt being tight assed about hemp, the more I hate it.

War on Drugs: A FAILURE.

A potheads scheme to ultimately make Marijuana legal by making things out of Hemp: A FAILURE.

Both sides need to give up their ridiculous fights, and share some bong hits.
2002-04-08 05:30:43 PM
Wow is that dumb.

hemp beer?
2002-04-08 05:31:46 PM
It could be worst. They could tax the hell out of it like cigarettes
2002-04-08 05:31:53 PM
bah.. not enough THC in the chips anyways.
2002-04-08 05:32:33 PM
"fans of these products laud them as a nutritional godsend."

Ya...ya...that's it...nutritional godsend...ya...
2002-04-08 05:33:18 PM
hey guys, chin up. it's federal court in CALIFORNIA. now if it were elsewhere, I would be worried.
2002-04-08 05:34:11 PM
Hemp beer: You have to drink more because it gives you cotton mouth

Hemp chips: Give you the munchies...

The John McCarthy must have invented these products
2002-04-08 05:35:13 PM
Remember the hemp farmer in the UK who had to post a sign outside his field, to keep stoners from pilfering his THC-free hemp plants?

"You would have to smoke a joint the size of a telegraph pole to get high!"
2002-04-08 05:36:10 PM
These are your tax dollars at work, ladies and gentlemen...
2002-04-08 05:37:00 PM
first off, you would have to eat/drink an amount of product that would rupture your stomach if you wanted to get high.

second off, the DEA are farking morons. They want job security and are the last people who should be in charge of deciding what should and shouldn't be a controlled substance.
2002-04-08 05:37:59 PM
I have yet to try these products, any good?

you know, adding hemp and thinking that makes it good is not gonna be the case for everything. Brownies are great with Hemp, but you know you are only having the hemp in it to get high, it does nothing to add flavor. Clothes, rope, stuff like that makes sense, but let us not get out of hand, ok?
2002-04-08 05:38:25 PM
Just legalize it and let people do whatever they want, as long I don't have to pay for their medical care.

"Winners don't do drugs"

That goes for heroin and crack too, survival of the fittest and all that.
2002-04-08 05:39:14 PM
Talk about your BS. I'd rather have it like cigaretts any way. Tax the crap out of me, I don't care. I'll just grow in my yard. It will be like the folks who roll their own cigs.
2002-04-08 05:39:25 PM
how heavy would a telegraph sized joint be? I mean you would probably need a crane and a sack lunch to get through that sucker!
2002-04-08 05:39:55 PM
finally an issue arises which i can agree with the left.
2002-04-08 05:40:03 PM
"mmmm. I like hemp!"

2002-04-08 05:41:04 PM
aww, Slawyerswine, who said that the lawmakers are corrupt cocksuckers? Corrupt, sure, but cocksuckers? That's not a pretty mental image. Strom Thurmond on his knees? *Shiver*
2002-04-08 05:43:16 PM
I have never seen Hemp Waffles and That is exactly what I'm looking for at 2:30am on a Saturday night. Where do they sell this stuff? Certainly not in my town.
2002-04-08 05:43:53 PM
For those of you who think making things out of hemp is just some hippie's way of legalizing got A LOT of homework to do. Get to it and shut up until you're done. You're just making an ass of yourself as people who know, snicker and point their fingers.

Or else run for congress and spout these inane platitudes to the equally misled sheeple. You might do well. But the window of opportunity is closing fast.

The times they are a'changing.
2002-04-08 05:44:05 PM
What I want to know is..where are my THC pills? Somebody's dropping the ball on this one..
2002-04-08 05:44:28 PM
Note to self: If I want to enrageSlayerswine... trash talk hemp production.

Reason #298 to live in Canada: Canadian government grows legal marijuana in Flin Flon, Manitoba!
2002-04-08 05:45:28 PM
impaler, that is some funny shiat. you should try to submit that. my two favorite lines:

"Time and time again, DEA tests have shown that no feeling you could get from drugs could be better than the great feeling you get from being a winner,"

"Winners seem to have an unknown quality that enables them to use drugs and keep on winning,"
2002-04-08 05:46:04 PM
Note to self: There is a place in Canada named Flin Flon...
2002-04-08 05:47:32 PM
I would like to hear from one of these "conservatives want to empower the individual" people. How do you explain the conservatives puritanism toward cannabis? Why should the government, in the exceptionnal case of drugs, meddle into our personal lives?
2002-04-08 05:47:54 PM
Impaler-LMAO, funny shiat.
2002-04-08 05:48:05 PM
Anyone who still doesn't see what a sham the drug war is has their eyes closed.
2002-04-08 05:49:05 PM
WarmBeer-You definately got a second on that one.
2002-04-08 05:50:42 PM
It is high time that we got a "retarded" tag. Sheesh!
2002-04-08 05:50:42 PM
the drug war isn't a sham. i got to be in it for about 8 weeks in 1996 - it's all too real.

The problem with republicans and the Democrats is they don't believe that they can be conservative on one issue and liberal on another.
That is why I vote for Libertarian party every time a vote comes up. I just don't get why this country does not display more common sense.
2002-04-08 05:53:27 PM
The DEA is a farking disgrace. What an antiquated idiocy machine. The amount of money that will be spent deciding the outcome of this is completely insane. All so they can decide whether or not the economy that pays their salaries should continue to use a plant that has been cherished by human beings for its diversity of uses since 8000 BC.

"man, remember that one time when I dropped my keys and you thought the phone was ringing?"
-Otto, also from the brand spanking new simpsons
2002-04-08 05:54:45 PM
you know, what i don't get the most is, why do they have any time or money to spend on this worthless cause? hemp food and drink? is the DEA just stupid? wtf?
2002-04-08 05:55:39 PM
i don't want to seem hypocritical as I smoke my share of grass and feel it should be legalized but wouldn't you agree that some drugs should be regulated by the gov't?
2002-04-08 05:56:26 PM

So the FDA has decided my food can have "acceptable levels" of things like rat feces, but not THC.

I get a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing they are looking out for my well being.

1150AD > Moslems use hemp to start Europe's first paper mill. Most paper is made from hemp for the next 700 years.
1492AD > Hempen sails, caulking and rigging ignite age of discovery and help Columbus and his ships reach America.
1564 > King Phillip of Spain orders hemp grown throughout his empire, from modern-day Argentina to Oregon
1631 > Hemp used as money throughout American colonies.
1776 > American 'Declaration of Independence' drafted on hemp paper.
2002 > an antiquated drug enforcement agency spends millions in taxpayer money in order to attemp to completely phase hemp out of the economy. Why? Because they're afraid you might catch a buzz. Or die from THC... because... well, you know, THC kills you and stuff.
2002-04-08 06:00:17 PM
