That's seriously creepy. Reminds me of Stephen King's novel Desperation.

I thought about Desperation too.

I'm not sure, but I think an anal probing is likely.

You're right. Illegal immigrants aren't really human. I shoot a few before breakfast. Helps wake me up in the morning.

I never read Desperation. It reminded me of Mississipi Burning.

Speaking of reading, did anybody read that whole article? I like to believe that I don't have ADD, but damned if I could stay interested past chapter 4 or so.

SkunkDuster: I zoned in and out, but it's still shorter than an average post in a FARK flamewar.

He was obviously being used by vampires to garner police influence, and had him turn the people over to them.

Wait, the weekend is over, I'm supposed to be OOC... damn it!

Does MaxxLarge remind anyone else of the minstrel in the closing credits to Blackadder 2?

DRT whole A.

And a Naples?

Weird.

dukefluke,
He reminds me more of Sir Robin's minstrels. And yes, I know the meter/rhyme is completly different. Perhaps it's just because I'm hungry and havn't eaten yet today. (I'll rejoice later)

LittleBrother - "He reminds me more of Sir Robin's minstrels. And yes, I know the meter/rhyme is completly different. Perhaps it's just because I'm hungry and havn't eaten yet today. (I'll rejoice later)"

Was going to be my first comparison. Brave Sir Robin's minstrels were annoying, sure, but in a funny, non-smug way. "When danger reared its ugly head, Sir Robin bravely turned and fled" - that's just genius.

Blackadder's minstrel was both annoying AND smug, so I think I prefer that one.

I think the Sheriff guy had something to do with the disappearance of those two dudes.
Just a crazy hunch I have. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
Discuss.....

How dare you people question police officers! They risk their lives to keep you safe, not for any sort of power trip. They are there to help you, not gain anything personally. These people are well educated, being that they need at least a GED to be a cop. FOR SHAME!

No, I think your analysis is perfectly justified. Twice may be a coincidence, but there are no coincidences when it comes to people repeatedly vanishing out of the same officer's patrol car.

Yup, that's what I got when I saw one Mexican and one black mentioned in the article. When did being black become illegal? For that matter, when did being an illegal alien make you subhuman?

Maybe the deputy stuck them in Phil Herup's gas chamber.

No Such Agency, matrix29

I know, that's what makes it so spooky. I'd love to dismiss this as pure coincidence, but years of watching in-depth (though Science Lite) forensic analysis in crime shows makes me jittery when it comes to guys like this. You're right, matrix29 that's what makes him so eerie - his confidence and arrogance. He probably believes he can get away with it, because he's meticulous and thorough.

pigs usually do this to young girls, not guys, so i don't know if this one is true. don't doubt it tho.

at least 4 were found naked and raped in NJ from one in 99. His sister turned him in, otherwise he never would've been caught.

They joke about this shiat when they are alone. the only reason they become cops is because they like the power it gives them.

Midnight, our sons and daughters
Were cut down and taken from us
Hear their heartbeat
We hear their heartbeat
In the wind we hear their laughter
In the rain we see their tears
Hear their heartbeat
We hear their heartbeat

Night hangs like a prisoner
Stretched over black and blue
Hear their heartbeat
We hear their heartbeat

In the trees our sons stand naked
Through the walls our daughters cry
See their tears in the rainfall

Knew a girl in HS who was attacked by a group of young thugs in a park near her home. She tells her neighbor (a cop) about it, and he takes her back to the park (now after dark) and starts getting major creepy on her - "Show me where they grabbed you. Pull your shirt down the way they did. etc" She said she started to get freaked out and back away and he lunged at her, she ran, he called her a slut as she ran off. She ended up running away from home because of the way he would look at her and of course her parents didn't believe her.

Years later, he was at the top of the force.

This same thing happened in Orlando and they finally proved the cop killed the guy. A drug addict tipped a cop off that a businessman makes large deposits in cash to his bank. The cop turned on his flashers and pulled the guy over. Killed him for around $50,000 or something like that.

2005-05-31 08:39:28 AM
How do we know that the second missing guy is black? Just because he has dreadlocks?

Very interesting story. I hope for follow ups on this one cause I need closure.

Hello All,

I am from naples and have been following these disturbing stories. They actually had a video tape of the first case, from the Circle K, but noone leaves the police car but the officer, I would be willing to wager a small fortune that this Deputy has something to do with the dissapearences, but the Sheriffs officce down here doesn't care.... A couple years ago a deputy shot an un-armed man in the back 9 times and killed him, and is still on the force.

Heck, people disappear after the Dallas police arrest them all the time. The jails new computer system can't keep track of who it has where, so people get locked up, and they just don't release them, don't let them talk to a lawyer, nothing.

(Sorry, the links are to the the DallasNews.com site, which requires registration.)

Of course, Dallas also has a history of planting fake drugs on people and arresting them for that, so what do you expect...

http://www.nbc5i.com/news/4467988/detail.html

This cop is bad - the Dallas cops have a whole system set up around farking people over.
