Shadowknight: Yes! Cheesy porn music reference!

Stewie doing porn sound track is the best thing ever on The Family Guy.

As Bob Dole recently quipped, when asked why Clinton's book was longer than his, "He had more explaining to do."

~ Wonders if he'll ask...

Don't need to ask. Sometimes it's just fun to play with the filters.

'And in closing, when people ask me if I think I was a disgrace to the country, I just say that depends of what your definition of 'was' is, jerk. You owe me $200,000. Thank you!"

Yo, rosie o'donnel uses fark personals?
2005-05-20 10:03:12 AM

If that's Rosie, it's a really bad picture.
2005-05-20 10:06:42 AM
Rosie has one of the best and most read blogs out there. Interesting blather and she is alot more itneresting than you'd think.

"Clinton acknowledges complaints about the book's length and names a possible culprit, his wife." That's Bill Clinton -- NOTHING is his fault. Book too long? blame the wife!
2005-05-20 10:18:17 AM
If that's Rosie, that's a really GOOD picture.

Yea, I know. It sure is great to finally have a prez who takes responsibility for his mistakes.

I didn't think it was too long.

Is the movie of Clinton's life gonna have x rated scenes? if so I might see it. If not, I wasn't the biggest farking Clintler fan anyways.

Steely Dan? And I'm the dumbass?

Hey 19, WTF

Epdidumbass Rex

> Steely Dan? And I'm the dumbass?

Don't even go there, Blink181boi.

>Hey 19, WTF

That's Arethra Franklin.
2005-05-20 11:18:28 AM
What, no right wingers talking about his working to make a NWO government, or how he blah blah blah blah blah. It gets so bloody repetitive and it's about as sane as Eck's Lizard people and MJ-12.
2005-05-20 11:20:09 AM
Arethra Franklin?? Do you mean Aretha Franklin?

Who's the dumbass now?

Way back when
In Sixty-seven
I was the dandy
Of Gamma Chi
Sweet things from Boston
So young and willing
Moved down to Scarsdale
Where the hell am I

Hey Nineteen
No we can't dance together
No we can't talk at all
Please take me along
When you slide on down

Hey Nineteen
That's 'Retha Franklin
She don't remember
The Queen of Soul
It's hard times befallen
The sole survivors
She thinks I'm crazy
But I'm just growing old

Hey Nineteen
No we got nothing in common
No we can't talk at all
Please take me along
When you slide on down

The Cuervo Gold
The fine Colombian
Make tonight a wonderful thing

No we can't dance together
No we can't talk at all

As long as everything has some substance to it, go ahead and make the book as long as you need to. It's just that when you start to prattle on and say absolutely nothing that the book gets to be 'too long'.

Example: Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them, by Al Franken. A lot of the book has a point to it (whether you agree with it or not). However, late in the book you get to this comic book segment that really doesn't go anywhere. You can skip right over it and lose nothing. Thus, that didn't need to be in there.

And now I will gaze into the future of this thread and reply in advance:

"That whole book is pointless."

Not what I meant. I meant that the author's trying to say something, and not wasting page after page rehashing their message and saying nothing. (Good examples would be those 300-page biographies of athletes who are, at the time, 27 years old and in their prime. You can reduce 300 pages to 'This athlete is bigger than your chosen deity itself!')
2005-05-20 11:23:10 AM
I've got to think Bill Clinton's a Steely Dan Fan, too.
2005-05-20 11:35:44 AM
Clinton is my hair hero.
Oh and the fact that thanks to him I got my first real job.
Thanks Bill!
/would vote for him again

It's for my brother. He's got a nose like a vacuum cleaner - Roger Clinton caught on FBI wiretap

Clinton, Fine Colombian. Hell ya!

From the article:

"At first I saw a series of dark faces, like death masks, flying toward me and being crushed," writes Clinton, whose book comes out May 31 in both trade and mass market paperback. "Then I saw circles of light with the faces of Hillary, Chelsea, and others I cared about flying toward me, then away into a bright, sun-like source."

For the first "Black President" he sure is farking racist.
/seriously, wtf?

Epididimus Rex

Yes, even if you did it on purpose.
2005-05-20 05:20:03 PM
It's like intentionally taking the "Whammy" or the "Gizmo" or whatever other tongue-depresser-sized gewgaw they used at your summer camp to assign whoever was "it" at the evening dinner hour, the punishment having to get up on one of the tables and having to sing a really embarassing song.

Trying to be "it" is not an excuse.

Epididimus Rex, ye must repent of your futile attempt at invoking Slashdot Trolling Phenomena on this fair board here..
2005-05-20 05:41:16 PM
At least Clinton reads books.
2005-05-20 06:41:02 PM

REPENT? Are you trying to start a religious flamewar?
