2002-04-03 12:44:15 PM
Best thing about being never have time to actually comment on the article
2002-04-03 12:46:43 PM

If Cogito Ergo Sum can get the Boobies, then the terrorist have already won.

BTW, What the hell is Homestar, why is this worthy of a link ?? Please use links wisely, post more stories of Jennifer Connelly

2002-04-03 12:48:39 PM
Skinink...your a good man
2002-04-03 12:49:54 PM
This almost makes up for the tragically unfunny Retrocrush post from earlier today. Nice joerb.
2002-04-03 12:50:40 PM
why post more stories of Jennifer Connelly when there are so many good pictures to post instead? I think you are all just jealous.

I agree I dont see all the wonder surrounding Homestar Runner, but I do like Strong Bad. I think he should have a mouth like a sailor tho. Hes too innocent.

Homestar was funny the first time I found it...

Then it got really boring...
2002-04-03 01:12:21 PM
Cogito ergo sum dumbass.

Translation: I think therefore I am (a dumbass)
2002-04-03 01:14:33 PM
I can not believe a person named "scoots" is attempting to slander my name with a login name like that. I love you. Where is that you exactly "scoot" to? Perhaps walking would be a better mode of transportation?
2002-04-03 01:14:53 PM
Cogiburrito...NO ONE CARES
2002-04-03 01:17:19 PM
yes lets not fight. I want to snuggle you both. I hope you dont mind that I bring my stuffed bear with me?
2002-04-03 01:21:03 PM
Not slandering your name, I'm slandering the violently useless comments you've flooded every thread with today. Scoots is my actual nickname (my name is Scott) that actual people in Real Life (tm) call me. I suppose if I was a 15 year old playing hooky from school and accessing Fark from the public library I'd try to hide behind a "cool" handle like yours too. I appreciate the declaration of love but I'm afraid you're a little young for me, not to mention my strict "no homosexuality" clause.
2002-04-03 01:25:56 PM

Im sure you and your mother are very proud of your name. You wear it with such pride.
2002-04-03 01:25:58 PM
Amen brother!
2002-04-03 01:27:04 PM
Scoots, ignore this little turd....nothing for him to do in his parents basement but try to be Weenerss on articles he does not even understand
2002-04-03 01:27:20 PM
Why slander gay people at the same time?
2002-04-03 01:28:37 PM
I love you guys. Ive never snuggled two at once...but im always open to experimentation.
2002-04-03 01:29:06 PM
2002-04-03 01:29:21 PM
Are you now trying to anger a whole new demographic?
2002-04-03 01:31:02 PM
no anger. just love. lotsa love.
2002-04-03 01:32:01 PM
besides we are offtopic. Stop flaming me and actually comment on the article.
2002-04-03 01:32:14 PM
I am sure you made some friends with that Gay comment...keep it up...there are more people to will do it in time
2002-04-03 01:34:05 PM
Now you are my parental figure as well? I appreciate you taking me under your wing, but you still arent posting about the article....
2002-04-03 01:34:19 PM
Velvet: it's like WarGames. The only way to win is to not play.
2002-04-03 01:36:16 PM
Why did Retro Crush guy break off from X-E? Was it a bandwidth thing? A pride thing? X-E hasn't updated very frequently in the last several months, and if they were back together, I feel like both parties would benefit. It's the same humor anyhow, except Retrocrush has more boobies.
2002-04-03 01:36:20 PM
Game Dr. Falken?
2002-04-03 01:38:54 PM
Global Thermonuclear War

I dunno Rocco...I used to read X-E all the time too. Not sure what happened to cause that. Maybe if you emailed Matt he would tell you..
2002-04-03 01:41:14 PM
Rocco...just wanted to do my own site, no falling out or anything. X-E is Matt, retroCRUSH is me. Matt and I got along very well on the site, but he had many problems with many of the other folks on the site. It suits X-E better to be a Matt content exclusive thing, anyway.

And ultimately, I think retroCRUSH shoots for a slightly older demographic, as most of the 50s-70s stuff I talk about is pretty far above the 20 something average audience age of X-E.
2002-04-03 01:46:22 PM
Rberry: I read the interview you did awhile back with Johnny Ryan (I think it was on X-E at the time) and actually followed the link and bought some original art from him (Loady and Maus, I think the link still works). Very classy guy. Tip o' the hat to you for bringing it to my attention.
2002-04-03 01:55:30 PM
I've always liked the HSR stuff, and I'm disappointed that the guys didn't talk more about their toons, characters, etc.
2002-04-03 02:12:38 PM
Hey, that'st awesome Scoots...thanks for supporting such a great guy!
2002-04-03 02:18:36 PM
I liked Homstar Runner the first time around... when it was called U.S. Acres.
2002-04-03 02:19:57 PM
Strong Sad is the best character.
2002-04-03 02:21:26 PM
STOP !!! You all are making me remember that horrible week when the "I have a computer " guy spammed all the threads !!! ARRRG !!!!
2002-04-03 02:29:42 PM
yeah that was a terrible week. I almost didn't make it. wtf
2002-04-03 02:49:23 PM
I found an .mp3 of that CBS Special intro music thing they were talking about. Groovy.
2002-04-03 02:53:37 PM
These guys are really stupid. Brothers Chaps? Oh come on. More like Brothers Craps.
2002-04-03 03:34:58 PM
Strong Bad's emails crack me up.
2002-04-03 03:39:53 PM
homestarrunner is the most brilliant and downright great thing i've seen in a long time.
I tell you there's nothing like running through the whole 'nice Joerb there homestar' dialogue when on tour in a rock band, hilarious and it never gets old.

I'd but a shirt with Coach Z that said 'nice joerb!' easilly!

Great interview Robert, i'm glad fark links to the strong bad e-mail and what not, before that the only people I knew championing homestar was retrocrush and the band 'the oxes'.

Brilliant! I will soooo buy the VHS if it ever comes out.
2002-04-03 04:03:06 PM
Hahahaha... that's funny they did the mellow mushroom web site. I've been there before and remember thinking it was completely crazy. So I guess that means Atlanta is their home town? Ahhh... that also makes sense since they talked to cartoon network... which is headquarted in atlanta (in midtown atlanta, right where mellow mushroom started... )
2002-04-03 04:31:38 PM
