LAME

2005-05-09 12:16:06 AM
Terrible. Just terrible. Extreme lag, bad samples, a beginner's comprehension of Flash. Don't bother.

2005-05-09 12:17:53 AM
All that and no cowbells?

2005-05-09 12:20:38 AM
pretty bad... I thought it would be cool

Took some frustrations out on the poor things...enjoyable.

If you are complaining how badly it sucks, I suggest it's probably because you didn't think of it first.

How many drummers does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Six. One to do it and the other five to say how Neil Peart could've done it better.

2005-05-09 12:22:58 AM
I just held down my space bar and it was like the intro to "Hot for Teacher."

Why don't they play that at strip clubs anymore?

2005-05-09 12:25:13 AM
this could be cool, if it didn't suck

2005-05-09 12:26:38 AM
This is really shiatty. The bass drum is way too slow to react to actually do anything. Among other things...

2005-05-09 12:26:59 AM
Tenchi, not funny.

2005-05-09 12:27:59 AM
While i recognize the amazing talent of Neil Peart, he just doesn't do anything for me. Too technical i guess. I like more style, hence:

Best. Drummer. Ever.

More like n-k-e

A minute of enjoyment, tops.

Overall, worth the price of admission.

2005-05-09 12:30:09 AM
Man this thing sucks. How did it get green lit? I kick harder beats with my fingers and desk.

2005-05-09 12:30:34 AM
Excuse me, Neil?
Danny Carey ownz j00.

No, it's because the latency is too high and irregular for it to be playable, if you're trying to do anything more than just making noise.

Neat concept, though.

Dude likes his cymbals a wee bit too much.

2005-05-09 12:34:05 AM
so what's the combination for the basic 4-4 rock beat?

please help, I know nothing

2005-05-09 12:34:37 AM
Why the fark did they not make the bass double pedal adaptable?

2005-05-09 12:34:56 AM
I like me some Carter Beauford.

2005-05-09 12:35:07 AM
Way too much lag to keep a rhythm.

2005-05-09 12:35:19 AM
Now I can drum like that guy from Def Leppard

/just like my momma said

2005-05-09 12:35:47 AM
amusing, but sucky.

/knows nothing about drums

2005-05-09 12:36:08 AM
Daney Carey? You've got to be farking kidding me. Why listen to mediocre 90s drummers when recordings of Bonzo are available? Even Buddy Rich in his retirement could easily outplay any garbage player from the 90s.

2005-05-09 12:37:07 AM
One exception to the 90s suck rule: Carter Beauford.

2005-05-09 12:37:19 AM

Saw Fear Factory in concert a few months ago...damn this boy can play.

Sad situation that...

Barker isn't by any means a bad drummer. I personally despise Blink 182's music but it's more of a case of a good drummer getting a good deal to play shi'ite music.. for good money.

or so it seems to me.

mike portnoy btw

Tenchi, I disagree with SADnif, that was funny.

If you want something good out of this thread, and you enjoy a great show, get Rush in Rio, it's pretty amazing.

anyone ever heard of the Drumbassadors? freakin' amazing drummers, I tell you hwat.

/not a drummer
//loves the drums

2005-05-09 12:42:32 AM
Was trying to match Absu's double bass speed, barely made it to Lars Ulrich's tape-looped "Dyer's Eve" speed. Lag sucks.

2005-05-09 12:44:50 AM
Is this what Meg White records with?

2005-05-09 12:45:15 AM
polyphony would be nice. it's kinda essential for drummers...

2005-05-09 12:46:25 AM
I played my drums today. Pissed off the wife and since it's mothers day I stopped :(

\drummer n00b
\\wishes he had 1/10000th of the talent Neil Pert has
\\\always wanted to use slashes

Minus1Kelvin

Easily one of the best drummers ever, but sadly overlooked. :(

2005-05-09 12:47:44 AM
Neil Pert was a good drummer, but my favorite rock drummers are Keith Moon and Nick Mason. Have you seen Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii? Truly awesome.

2005-05-09 12:47:57 AM
1. Keith Moon
2. Matt Cameron

hnlzero:

Didn't Mike Portnoy's site used to have a virtual drum kit on it? Or was it just an overhead view with a numbered index of all his equipment? I can't seem to remember. Anyway, good call. That man is a machine.

2005-05-09 12:53:38 AM
I think this is a fun little waste of time. Entertained me for longer than most web sites. Yeah, it lags, but so what!?! You want real drum action, then uhm, get a real drum, maybe?

2005-05-09 12:54:46 AM
Time to get my New Order on.
