That's what I always say...

"Honey, I'm going to the Ballet with the boys."

Sometimes we call it "bowling"

Personally I don't mind VAT for my strippers, its the FAT that really bugs me.

I thought Opera was a browser. Then again, it's Norwegian and a work of art...

Still $20.

Lawyers for the Blue Angel, which contested the VAT demands, argued that undressing as nurses, police women or flamenco dancers demonstrated artistic flair.

So it's the costumes that make it art? Just undressing as a normal stipper wouldn't be art, but if you do it as a nurse it is? I'm confused.

/Doesn't frequent strip clubs.
//Still enjoys the occasional strip tease.
///Is all for art, just not shelling out lots of cash for it.

This's gotta qualify for a NEA grant

Wait a minute - the percentage of art lovers jumped 500%?

From this, we can calculate that the percentage of Norwegian art lovers - assuming it's now 100% after strip tease was ruled to be art - must have been 20% or under before. Otherwise, more than 100% of norwegians would now be art lovers, which is impossible.

So, less than 21% of Norwegians really like art. Shame! Shame!

I need to see many examples of this, then I will decide if its art. Maybe I should apply for a grant to study this wonderous topic.

Maybe a really stacked blond could come on stage with a spear and a helmet with horns on it, belt out a couple of "Toya, Toya Hooo's and then shed the duds ...

I'd pay $23.93 to see that.

Well, spank me and call me an art lover!

Naked women are already considered art, but now we can consider naked and sexually suggestive women art too? These truly are wonderful times.

The Dagbladet article on the same story had pictures. Good for Farkettes, less so for (straight) Fark guys. Gotta love Norway!

Does anybody really do a strip tease any more?

From my very very limited experience with adult clubs, nobody strips. The girls just get up on stage naked and start dancing.

I would think that a strip tease well performed could be considered art. A naked girl dancing is just a naked girl dancing.

this just begs for the Hero tag

"Hon, I'm going with the boys to the Art Show"

Indeed.
We need to bring back the cabaret/burlesque show.

Been a while since I've crossed the border to go to the Canadian Ballet. As I recall the law was she has to keep on at least 1 article of clothing and that usually meant a gold chain on her ankle.
