Oh, how I miss the days of Tranformers, GI Joe, and He-Man. If only I could be 8 years old again.

2002-03-31 12:53:53 AM
Yawn.

2002-03-31 12:54:43 AM
Yea, those sucked alright!

2002-03-31 12:55:55 AM
It's not well-known that Phil Hartman provided the voice of Dennis the Menace's dad in the cartoon.

2002-03-31 12:59:30 AM
You didn't think I forgot about Camp Candy, did you? Of course I didn't! Camp Candy aired from 1989 - 1991, and featured the starpower of comedy legend John Candy. Camp Candy was based around John as a counsellor at his own children's camp.
How could this not be cool ?
I thought the ALF cartoon (?80's) was great !

2002-03-31 01:03:22 AM
Yes, show us something that is crappy.

Nice concept.

2002-03-31 01:04:02 AM
Foofur sucked donkeys and I generally agree with his list, but I actually liked the Gummi Bears. There were WAY more cartoons that sucked more than that.

2002-03-31 01:05:27 AM
I seemed to remember liking The Gummi Bears, or is that me?

Though, I have to agree, the majority of those sucked.

2002-03-31 01:05:45 AM
God Farking Damn.

Seems like every cartoon in the 80's was made to brainwash kids and turn them into Ned Flanders clones.

2002-03-31 01:06:00 AM
Okay then, is it just SpaceMoose and me?

2002-03-31 01:08:32 AM
That's nothing to...

2002-03-31 01:11:30 AM
i always hated this one show called 'the wuzzles'

2002-03-31 01:13:16 AM
Hey! I liked Gummi bears!

2002-03-31 01:13:24 AM
Anyone remember the cartoon where the kid morphed into his car?

2002-03-31 01:14:25 AM
i could handle the gummi bears, not my favorite show by any stretch, but not deserving of the top ten worst ranking.

i think that rescue rangers could take it spot.

2002-03-31 01:16:23 AM
Punky Brewster and The Gummi Bears were the bomb when I was growing up.I agree with the rest of this list, though.

2002-03-31 01:17:44 AM
here were my top five cartoons from back in the day:

thundercats
he-man (#1)
transformers
muppet babies
the rambo cartoon

2002-03-31 01:18:12 AM
Cartoons nowadays tend to suck.Rather than writing any plots,it's just random mindless stupidity or cliche'd heroism.

2002-03-31 01:20:01 AM
Pulsarcat,

i also loved the gummi bears.. that mean we're outcasts?

for some reason, i just had a faint remembrance of a Mr. T cartoon. i think it was Mr. T and a couple of kids, and they would run around and do stuff, and the kids were gymnasts or something. pretty dumb.

i thought much less of T after i saw that show.

2002-03-31 01:21:09 AM
Soundwave980: You remember that piece of shiat show? How about The Noozles (sp?)? It was about a koala that would become "unstuffed" or "awakened" when you rubbed your nose against his. Then they went on all sorts of trips only the most devoted fan of Timothy Leary could dream of. And to top it all off, it blurred the lines between shiatty American cartoons, and shiatty Japanese cartoons (to this day I do not know which culture spawned it, because it has elements of American and Japanese style... must be some bullshiat joint venture meant to confuse and boggle me).

2002-03-31 01:21:11 AM
His reason for hating Kissyfur is that Kissyfur was obviously a homosexual bear. Good reason for this homo to move on to the next article...

2002-03-31 01:22:35 AM
Soundwave980 I've had just about enough of your Rescue Rangers knocking.

2002-03-31 01:22:47 AM
kanonball - aren't you missing the villians?

i think they were some kind of crocodiles, but i may just be an idiot.

2002-03-31 01:25:03 AM
I was born in 1982, so I missed a lot of the early 80's cartoons, but thankfully, I live in Canada, so we get shows about five years after the US.

2002-03-31 01:25:24 AM
Let me be the third to say that I liked The Gummi Bears when I was a kid. It wasn't even particularly obscure. Don't think Dennis the Menace was, either; that thing was still in syndication in the mid-90s, frighteningly enough.

2002-03-31 01:26:34 AM
Oh, and I liked the Noozles, too, damn it.

Although I'm just as stumped as to whether it was a Japanese anime or an American cartoon...

2002-03-31 01:27:03 AM
What was that one show where the kid could do whatever he wanted with a magic baseball mitt? I think he was voiced by Maculy Culkin or someone.

Also, you couldn't beat Captain N for pure commercialism.
"Look! It's Bayou Billy! I love that game he's in! Available now!"

2002-03-31 01:27:23 AM
classic - sorry. i retract my previous statement and submit in its place: the snorks

nazzerov - yeah, the noozles. it sucked.

2002-03-31 01:27:25 AM
Kissyfur WAS awful.I didn't watch it because 1.it was boring, and 2.I wasn't about to watch and listen to what some swamp trash bear had to say.

2002-03-31 01:27:32 AM
HEY!! Camp Candy kicked ass!

Here are some cartoons that really sucked A$$, though.
Kidd Video, some cartoon about glowing worms that sings songs (Glo Worms, I think), Anything on NBC in the 80's (Except Mr. T, of course). Back in the early 80s, there was this show on Nickelodeon that took the farking cake, PINWHEEL! My sister used to make me watch that crap every single farking day! Does anyone else remember that? Also, these religious cartoons that used to be on some religious channel in the early 80s that was the only thing (besides Sesame Street and I Love Lucy) that my pre-school teacher would let me watch (Christian, obviously). They annoyed the fvuck outta me.

2002-03-31 01:28:33 AM
mack-salmon : you are referring to wish kid

2002-03-31 01:29:28 AM
Augh I remember all of these. Please make the pain go away.

2002-03-31 01:30:20 AM
Prinzeeugen: Thanks for reminding me of the noozles, a$$!
(Just Kidding 'bout the insult, but seriously, I hated them!) Almost made me chuck my doritos and beer!

2002-03-31 01:30:45 AM
I liked the Gummi Bears. Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't a flamming advertisement, and it actually had a decent plot (well, when stacked against the other cartoons of the time -- what with all the Pound Puppies, Snorks, and Kissyfur crap, how can it NOT be superior?).

Thundercats was okay. Mum-ra is greater than everybody. So evil yet so inefficient! How about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? That show stole a good portion of my life. Never got into transformers, but I hear the new ones are shiatty, leave it to fox to ruin it. =D

Of course Space Ghost (and his spin-offs including Space Ghost Coast To Coast, and that one other show I can't remember the name of (memory, blurring...) still owns anything on t.v. to this very day.

2002-03-31 01:30:50 AM
You know,I never saw Captain N.I was too busy with good cartoons like Rescue Rangers and Ducktales. And Talespin.God damn,Talespin kicked ass.I'm not a big Disney fan,and I'd love it if they brought it back.

2002-03-31 01:31:10 AM
captain n and the gamemasters rocked

i had never played mega man or castlevania until after i watched that cartoon, and for that, i am in its debt, for those games kicked ass

2002-03-31 01:31:43 AM
Was Darkwing Duck in the 80s or 90s? Same with Animaniacs. I think they were both early 90s, and I loved them both as well.

2002-03-31 01:31:46 AM
Does anyone remember ProStars? That was one of the dumbest cartoons I've ever seen.

2002-03-31 01:32:41 AM
Can't find any "EVIL" wuzzles , Soundwave
All Wuzzles
Bumblelion   Rhinokey   Eleroo   Butterbear   Moosel   Hoppopotamus
Tycoon   Woolrus   Skowl   Pandeaver   Piggypine   Koalakeet

2002-03-31 01:33:30 AM
kthulhu - sounds like you like disney to me. all those cartoons were brought to you by the evil empire of disney

2002-03-31 01:33:52 AM
Yeah I liked The Gummy Bears too. And also Dennis the Menace, because it would always end with the whole cast laughing at something stupid that silly, silly Ralph would do.

2002-03-31 01:34:12 AM
This isn't a cartoon, but thinking about this 80's kid's show seriously makes me want to vomit:

2002-03-31 01:34:24 AM
kanonball - maybe i am just retarded

2002-03-31 01:34:35 AM
The original Space Ghost cartoon and contemporary 70s Hanna-Barbara attempts at science fiction remain wonderfully bad to this day. If any of you get the Boomerang channel--I don't, but I watch the occasional Boomerang sneak peeks on Cartoon Network--enjoy some of that utter crap. It's like Superfriends, only worse.

2002-03-31 01:35:54 AM
I remember proStars. Wasn't that with all the famous atheletes like Gretzky (sp?)?

Quick1: I believe you are right, both were early 90s. I remember the super hero planet episodes the best. You know, where everyone on the planet is a super hero, and the "normal guy" goes missing?

2002-03-31 01:35:59 AM
Classic, I hate you. Remembering Zoobilee Zoo is worse than dredging up memories of childhood molestation.

2002-03-31 01:36:17 AM
ZOOBLIE ZOO SCARED THE SHIOT OUTTA ME!!!!
Seriously...man...one episode was about breaking a window, and the same day, a window broke and I got into trouble!.....DAMN YOU ZOOBLES!!!!!

Farking evil psychics, man........MOMMY!!!!!

2002-03-31 01:37:12 AM
kanonball - http://www.toonarific.com/w/wuzzles.html

i can't do html because i don't know how, so cut and paste will have to do. on that site they mention 'croc' though. i think he was the evil leader
