You know, if there's one thing I'd like to see, it would be a battle to the death between NewsMax and Yellowtimes. Or maybe both of them could just die.

Anyway, Yellowtimes needs to adjust the tinfoil hat a bit.

2002-03-28 09:30:05 AM
Oh, and before I forget...*grabs popcorn*

2002-03-28 10:15:18 AM
ENJOY DREW!!! (Observant TotalFarkers will get it).

2002-03-28 10:19:02 AM
At least we now know what it takes to get an article posted. Can't say I would go that far but who am I to judge?

2002-03-28 01:35:15 PM
The "veil of secrecy" seems to be about as effective as the "cone of silence"

2002-03-28 01:35:39 PM
Wouldn't that be "under a burqa of secrecy/"

2002-03-28 01:35:43 PM
Yea, Really farking secret...

2002-03-28 01:36:10 PM
So much for the "veil of secrecy". We can be sure that the Yellow Times will easily alert Saddam.

2002-03-28 01:36:19 PM
So secret, in fact, that Yellowtimes found out about it...

2002-03-28 01:36:24 PM
yeah secret uh huh we are so stealthy like ninja's in the night we will tell no media!

2002-03-28 01:36:45 PM
So what's the objection? That the U.S. is gearing up to attack Iraq, or that it isn't taking out newspaper ads notifying the world of it?

2002-03-28 01:37:16 PM
YellowTimes is about as trustworthy as the National Enquirer... I don't know why people even post this crap.

2002-03-28 01:38:25 PM
Should have marched right into Bagdad the first time around. Better late than never.

2002-03-28 01:38:34 PM
Lemme know if he's any good Drew.

2002-03-28 01:39:11 PM

2002-03-28 01:40:32 PM
Just wanted to post before the flamewar got well underway...

Let's take their camels. If there's one thing the United States needs, it's more camels.

2002-03-28 01:40:36 PM
YellowTimes = !NewsMax

2002-03-28 01:40:36 PM
Sssssshhhhhhhh....don't tell anyone...it's a secret

2002-03-28 01:41:16 PM
Hmmmmm one huge GLASS middle east. Sweet!! I bet you could even see it from space.

2002-03-28 01:42:26 PM
YellowTimes, name your "sources" and then I might give you more than a shake of my head...As always, it sounds like a bunch of pussy ass whiners decrying the very government and country that gives them the opportunity to publish this type of bilge.

So the Saudis won't support us? Fine. Once we're finished with Iraq, why don't we colonize those farkers and solve our oil problems once and for all? they weren't worth a shiat in the gulf war, why should we worry about them now?

2002-03-28 01:43:12 PM
or a church and munch and one huge ass parking lot kudoos to anyone who get the church and munch reference

2002-03-28 01:46:28 PM
How is this news? While it was never official, did anyone really doubt that this administration would pull this?

Regardless of one's feelings over whether attacking Iraq is right or wrong, the process by which our recent and potential future actions in the Middle East, i.e. without official Congressional approval, should disturb everyone.

...unless you're a FASCIST!!!

(...runs, hides behind rock, starts snickering...)

2002-03-28 01:47:27 PM
didn't the US say that we were giong to attack Saddam by the end of the year?
1) i bet its no secret that we are building up forces over there.
2) I bet the saudis dont help a lick either.
3) Israel is going to get all the other arab nations to fight against us.
4) Holy War!

Did anyone hear about the conference where the saudis and other arabs actually sided with saddam against Israel?

2002-03-28 01:49:21 PM
Remember when "secret" used to mean something.

2002-03-28 01:50:05 PM
Slappy Kincaid :YellowTimes, name your "sources" and then I might give you more than a shake of my head...As always, it sounds like a bunch of pussy ass whiners decrying the very government and country that gives them the opportunity to publish this type of bilge.

While I agree that they don't name sources and the article lacks credibility, I don't doubt that such events are occurring.

Also, I hate that attitude that I somehow OWE my government something for allowing me to express myself. FARK THAT. That's basic human rights. That's like saying you OWE your friends for not kicking your ass.

2002-03-28 01:50:48 PM
My biggest concern is not the validity of this news source, but the overall opinion expressed by you all.

Why is everyone so ready for a conflict with Iraq? Is it that you do not respect nations' sovereignty, or are you just all wrapped up in U.S. propaganda?

2002-03-28 01:50:52 PM
America needs to remain a strong supporter of Israel. Period end of question. Yes, they're not without their faults, but they're one of the major linchpins of the entire Middle East question. Plus, this country is the world's policeman, deal with it. We can't stand by and watch an entire nation/people be wiped out by a host of enemies committed to their total destruction. We can't.

2002-03-28 01:51:35 PM
YELLOWTIMES EXCLUSIVE:

Yellowtimes has obtained, from anonymous sources, a picture of the assasin that will take out Saddam Hussein :

I've just about had enough of all you unpatriotic 'turn them into a parking lot' types. Stop coddling them and let them really have it.

With the advances in biotechnology we have we could engineer some nasty-arse germ to melt their genitals, paralyse them and then keep them alive to be digested slowly over 10,000 years. The two obvious bonuses is that without the nuking we preserve their tasty, tasty oil; and we also get to mock their pain-wracked corpses for generations to come.

2002-03-28 01:52:12 PM
we could call it the sea of glass. We can drill for oil through glass right?

2002-03-28 01:52:42 PM

2002-03-28 01:53:09 PM
oops, not a secret anymore...

2002-03-28 01:53:55 PM
(on speakerphone) Ok boys! Remeber this is a STEALTH MISSION! So keep QUITE while we SURROUND THE BASE!

2002-03-28 01:54:15 PM
I'm ready for conflict with Iraq because I don't want a nuke landing in my country, or anywhere for that matter.

2002-03-28 01:54:45 PM
Driller Killer hmmmmmmm maybe eboli but ya know a biological would safely stay within thier boarders. "now be a good little germ and only kill the ragheads"

2002-03-28 01:55:23 PM
shouldn't that be amended to: "under a veil of readily available information that is unclassified and shred with anyone who happens to ask" just wondering.

2002-03-28 01:56:06 PM
I like to see what cool new weapons we've built since the last war, that the public hasn't seen yet. And I like seeing war correspondents scared and peeing in their pants when the Scuds come in.

2002-03-28 01:56:29 PM
excuse me that should read: shared

2002-03-28 01:56:34 PM
WarmBeer: what a troller you are! It's like you live in a parallel universe....of course we should kill Hussein. Or better yet, just leave him there to be a pain in the ass to the rest of the Middle East, right? Where he can give comfort to terrorists and take over smaller countries, thus rendering the entire area helpless. Not to mention his wanton cruelty to his own people, what a bunch of sadists!

Remember: the Democratic Party voted to keep the U.S. from liquidating him the first time around. Unleash the hounds!

2002-03-28 01:56:49 PM
This is going to be fun.

2002-03-28 01:56:58 PM
Why does everybody hate Isreal?

TV
2002-03-28 01:57:19 PM
not only are they doing it under a veil of secrecy but they're also, get this - using CODE NAMES!!!!! dun dun dun duhhhh

2002-03-28 01:57:33 PM
Why is everyone so ready for a conflict with Iraq? Is it that you do not respect nations' sovereignty, or are you just all wrapped up in U.S. propaganda?

We're reasonably sure that Iraq is developing nuclear and biological weapons. We're absolutely sure that Iraq won't let us in to look, as it agreed to do to end the gulf war. The stakes are such that the U.S. is not going to take the risk.

2002-03-28 01:57:34 PM
Even if this is true, my question is "So what?"

2002-03-28 01:57:38 PM
Slappy Kincaid :We can't stand by and watch an entire nation/people be wiped out by a host of enemies committed to their total destruction. We can't.

This isn't a nation/people issue. It's merely a nation issue...an issue which the Palestinians, regardless of the barbarism of a few psychotic assholes, have a legitimate gripe about. If Israel fell, the Jewish religion would go on, so spare me the silly propaganda. Whether or not some Islamic fundies want to wipe out Judaism is irrelevent in this particular case, because again, when you clear away all the religious bullshiat, the territorial/national argument is completely legit.

2002-03-28 01:58:23 PM
Everyone hates Isreal?

2002-03-28 01:58:48 PM
I thought you hated everyone, Cliff.

2002-03-28 01:59:12 PM
I hate every nation but thats just me

2002-03-28 01:59:24 PM
Ah, Yellowtimes, more yellow journalism from the left. Sorta like Newsmax in reverse. Freaks and troublemakers.
