What's weird is that just as I click into this thread SJP pops onto my TV singing "I enjoy being a girl" for the GAP.

She looks good all painted up and air brushed. I have a feeling that if you hose off all the makeup it would be a different story.

I thought she looked fairly hot on those commercials. Maybe it's just me. I've never really seen her in anything though (except for Sex in the City commericals), so maybe I'd change my mind if I had a good long look.

Mrs. SJP needs a reality check...she's what, almost 40 now? Gap markets to primarily 15-low 20s (I'm 24 and don't remember the last time I saw a girl my age in a Gap shirt so...)

SJP - you're old and marketing for the wrong demographic...plus all the commercials you're in, you're surrounded by young people...makes you stick out & you can't sing.

Not a big star. I had to look it up to even see watch movies hes been in, and the last one was Surviving Christmas. Yeah, that was a big hit. And I don't think he was even the lead in that film (another falling star?). I mean really, HBO may be popular in some circles, but its still the small screen, still cable, and you have to pay extra for it. I don't think that by itself makes one a 'big' star.

Sarah Jessica Parker should cheer up as I understand the Tractor Supply company is looking for a model for their new feedbag line. Which is a good thing because it will cover her face and shut her mouth at the same time.

magic of lights + makeup. im a photographer, you'd be surprised at how homely many models look when they're not in make up, selected wardrobe and under carefully controlled light. If you ever go to get your portrait done and they recommend you get the makeup artist option TAKE IT. You will look amazing. Even if you're a guy, you will benefit from having the skin cleared up. The rest is in the lighting. A good photographer will study you and light you in the way where the shadows fall in a very pleasing way, obscuring possible "defects" in shape and proportion.

Yes, I know how shallow it sounds. But we're paid to make people look beautiful, not real. This is why im amused when i see farkers pull out a promo pic of a celebrity as proof of amazing hotness...
