I don't think the government can keep a secret for 5 years no matter HOW classified it is.

Try looking up how long the SR-71, F-117 and B2 were kept secret. (The B2 had less of a period of secrecy as it became operational near the end of the cold war, but Congress didn't even know about it until it was essentially complete.)

I played that VGA game so much. I only got shot down once.

Is this a conspiracy theory or an ad in the Skymall magazine? Anyone else see the picture of the triangle hovering over the stream and expect to see a golden lab playfully wading in after it?

These guys must be the ones that stole my stash...

Oh hell, yeah, I played the crap out of that game, it was one of the best. That and Gunship 2000 were some of, if not THE best military flight sims ever. Especially for their time.

Yeah, the oval wings and such were pretty out there, especially considering the real shape of the F-117. I had even built a model of the "F-19". But as I was all of 12 years old, I can be forgiven. ;)

Looks like it would be pretty cool to take fishing.

bingo the psych-o,

I read that as 'I farked a UFO photographer'

that would be disturbing

Remember that Star Trek movie where they go to Earth and Data sinks in the water?

That "nature" picture of the UFO looks exactly like that scene.

Nuclear powered? Unlikely.

But this is a B-36 carrying a reactor to study the effectiveness of the idea.

mesach:

google "phoenix lights" and you'll find a ton of webpages on that sighting.

2005-03-05 08:11:25 PM
Wow, that's some pretty high-quality photoshop work on that mountain/wildnerness scene. And why would it be purple?

2005-03-05 08:11:33 PM

As you can clearly see from this diagram of the alien craft, it's meant to create a smoke screen.

2005-03-05 08:12:17 PM
ya gotta love the "black monies", and what they can do.

2005-03-05 08:14:07 PM
This is just smoke and mirrors. The real UFOs look like clouds and operate hidden in plain sight.

Furthermore.. cattle mutilation! Crop circles! Implants in the back of Scully's neck that duplicate her thought processes!

Now *there's* a triangle to wear on your head...

WangZilla,

IT's purple because as we have all been told in science fiction from the beginning, all strange alien alloys are very brightly colored pastels.

aterry33: I loved that game. There was another model tucked away on the disk that was closer to the the F-117 shape. You could switch to it by copying a couple of files.

I read this site yesterday. I didn't think Fark linked to stuff like this or I woulda submitted it. Look at it this way: We have the most advanced weapons systems on Earth. Our planes are decades ahead of the next competitor. If we had this technology, why would we let it be known? What if one got shot down and the enemy got ahold to it? All of a sudden some country might get an overnight edge on most everyone else like we have. No, we sit on the most advanced stuff until our enemies figure out how to defeat what we have on the battlefield already. I promise that should the USA lose air superiority in a war it will come out with some stuff that will make George Lucas cream. Until then, why show our hand before we have to?

But we still have to test. We still have to ensure that it can in fact fly and gather the intelligence that is needed. So we have UFO reports.

2005-03-05 08:19:23 PM
I love that it's nuclear powered but it's thrusters are "hydrogen-oxygen rockets." So let's see, there's a reactor on the thing somewhere for NO reason, and it's rockets run on water? Great.

The Aurora is probably a little more likely. Wanna see a great example of the military hiding something from us for years? GIS "Tacit Blue." That little stubby bus was a big air force secret for about 6 years in a row. The moment they released photos of it, the Navy joined the bandwagon with the "Stealth Ship" or the "Sea Shadow," which you can also find on GIS. That one, by the way, lives here in San Diego, and freaks the everloving crap out of tourists everytime they take it out in the harbor. For one thing, it's unpredictably huge. For another, it's really freaky looking. And it makes vitually no wake or noise. Awesomeness.

You want a cool radioactive flying machine, google "SLAM missile" or "Project Pluto", a Mach three nuclear ramjet cruise missile. It was teh hawt!

LMAO, I love how there is two photos of the "craft"

These two slightly different aircraft have been spotted in different parts of the world. Can you spot the differences?

I saw a UFO once.

Yet somehow, I managed to not lose my mind and become a conspiracy nut.

Go sensibility!

"Those are the pics of the Belgium UFO, which was seen for four hours across Belgium and chased by 3 sets of NATO fighters."
_________________________

The Belgian gov. had a news conference after the incident and showed (radar) video from the F-16s that were chasing the 'object'.

This triangle may explaine all the probes

The best part is some of you are taking the time to refute the page, like it's even worthy of consideration. Wait, that means its true and the pics are so dorky looking in the hopes no one will take it seriously.

If you ask me, all spaceships are inferior if they are not this one.

Looks like a piss-poor job of PS'ing done by a tin foil hat site. I think any one of our TF super PhotoShopers could do a much better and more believable job. How 'bout it TF'ers.

F-19. I vaguely remember playing the fark out of that on my friend's old, old farking PC (I don't know the actual specs; I was, like, 6). Still, thanks for reminding me. That was my first in a long line of flight sims.
