I dont have enough tinfoil for this. I'd go buy some more from Wal-Mart if they weren't a front for the governments mind control project.

2005-03-05 06:54:49 PM
LMAO, I love how there is two photos of the "craft" and on the second one, it says "Another" like it's a second, when it's CLEARLY the same picture as the first one

Put the tinfoil in the microwave right after you buy it, the electromagnetic radiation will destroy the tinfoil's mind control microchips and make it safe to use.

While i believe this site is fake. When I lived in Phoenix in 1995-1996 there was on the news an story about a strange triangle shaped object over mesa that ALOT of people saw. It got a lot of local press but I do not know what came of it, It was WIERD at best.

Anyone on TF living in AZ at that time remember this?

Phear:

Heh heh heh... yeah, the least they could have done is rotate one of the pics so the light trails weren't in the same exact place.

Not living there but that even made the news up here in the frozen north.

Are Belgian Triangles as good as Belgian Waffles?

2005-03-05 07:36:28 PM
I believe.

The truth....is in my pants.

Cute. It looks like a styrofoam meat plate.

I like how the secret government thingy and UFO's all have lights on them. Otherwise, they'd be harder to see while they are secretly observing us.

You've been in my pants???

Is it just me or is this article crying to be the subject of a photoshop contest to make more belivable UFO pics ?

2005-03-05 07:46:09 PM
Shenanigans. It's just an old British Vulcan with some added lights to freak people out.

/first thing that came to mind

2005-03-05 07:46:19 PM
I don't think the government can keep a secret for 5 years no matter HOW classified it is.

2005-03-05 07:46:21 PM
Yeah, like the Pentagaon is going to have an experimental nuclear aircraft floating over US soil, so if there's an accident you're have widespread radiation poisoning.

I think my favorite feature is the Hydrogen-Oxygen Variable Vectored Rocket Engines that look suspiciously like little suction cups.

I dont have enough tinfoil for this.

fone:

The other theory Requires much more tinfoil. Those are the pics of the Belgium UFO, which was seen for four hours across Belgium and chased by 3 sets of NATO fighters.

Although the technology and coverup seems unlikely, you have to remember that many of the ufo sightings during the 80's boom in sightings was due to the testing of the then-secret B-2.

It's actually a cool idea. The have a giant finger flick it to where it has to go.

2005-03-05 07:47:55 PM
Photoshop. Is there anything it CAN'T do?

mesach, you are correct. I wasn't one of them, but tens of thousands of people apparently saw those things.

Although the website seems to be running on a tinfoil server, I dont understand how so many people will completely dismiss things like this. But, the reaction on TF is not surprising.

Unless you see little green or gray men, it's ours !

I suppose no one will believe in this stuff until they do a flyover at the World Series or Daytona 500.

2005-03-05 07:51:24 PM
I have one of those in my office

People who believe this story are probably the same misguided people who actually believe we landed on the moon.

2005-03-05 07:52:21 PM
The "TR-3A Laser Designator" AKA Black Manta has been talked about since before the first Gulf War. It is not a flying triangle but a smaller and more stealthy F117. Those pictures are bunk.

2005-03-05 07:52:35 PM
The craft I've heard about (Aurora) uses a kind of engine that is not really constant, so it makes a strange noise. Here's a pic often cited as the engine type's trail, called "doughnuts on a rope"

drycoolwit wins already.

/watch out for that little spaceship.

I always wondered about what if some government did come upon some really advanced technology, what would they do with it? Do you try to develop it, use it for your advantage, or do you destroy it, in order to not let anyone steal it from you and use it against you?

This reminds me of when I faked a UFO photographe when I was in grade school. All I did was tape a peice of black paper (cut into the classic cigar shape) onto a screen door & took a picture of it.

The screen made everything nice and blurry just like good UFO pictures should be. The kids in school thought it was cool, but they thought it was even cooler when I told them that I faked them and showed them how easy it was to do it too.

As a physics major, I for one have no problem with the spinning Hg plasma supposedly making antigravity.

2005-03-05 07:59:18 PM
OKAY ALL YOU AMATEUR UFOLOGISTS OUT THERE, HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO POST THE BEST VIDEO FOOTAGE YOU CAN COME UP WITH

Sorry for shouting.

The only footage that I've ever seen that I was intrigued by was the Brussels, Belgium footage that the top two photographs (I assume) were taken from.

2005-03-05 07:59:19 PM
The Belgian triangles are, as blindeye01 said, most likely test flights of the B2.

The rest of the site has photoshopped pictures of a poorly raytraced contraption. Not to mention that the supposed explanation of the craft reek of Star Trekian BS physics.

Some_TV_Guy

That's a brazillian Jiu-jitsu move, the triangle is a bread and butter move, it'll choke you out - fast.

2005-03-05 08:00:22 PM
Does anyone else remember this game?

Another one of the great MicroProse games from the early 90's (M-1 Tank Platoon was my favorite, Gunship was really cool too).

Back then, they thought this was what the F-117 looked like.

2005-03-05 08:00:49 PM
It's not a government secret, it's actually made by intelligent apes who are planning to take back the earth.

DUH!

2005-03-05 08:01:18 PM
Tchhh, bet it's a retrofitted Goa'uld Death Glider.

It's true, I saw it on TV.

2005-03-05 08:01:19 PM
A long time ago when I was a kid I took a Poloroid of the sky above my house, freeze framed Return of the Jedi and took a Poloroid of the death star. Cut out the death star and pasted on the picture with the sky. Then took a picture of that. Looked as realistic as most UFO pictures.

2005-03-05 08:02:39 PM
I want to believe!

Some_TV_Guy: Uhh.... GIS for "Flying Triangle"

I think I'm gonna shut down for a while.

It's called "sankaku jime" and it's the triangle choke in judo. Looks gay, but it's deadly effective.

2005-03-05 08:03:25 PM
That footage looks like an updated version of the paper "football" that the guys used to use in highschool study. Not to start a flamewar or anything but, in my perspective, that game sucked ass. Maybe having the "football" be an electronic UFO would make it worth the while.

/Best part was the guy who made the goalpost with his hands. Worst. Evar.
