Your dog wants his leg back.

2005-03-03 03:26:26 PM
Did the dog say "I can make it on my own!" when interviewed?

2005-03-03 03:29:37 PM
My dog walks on three legs due to a car accident, but still has his fourth, mostly useless leg. Does that make him a three-legged dog?

2005-03-03 03:29:49 PM
He's got the heart of a champion!

/I don't know what I'm doing with my life

I had a three legged dog once (got too close to the hay mower). She could still run down rabbits.

2005-03-03 03:34:13 PM

/i know, it was just an accident
//cranky response, sorry

2005-03-03 03:36:05 PM
Meh. My four-legged dog could've found the kid 33% faster.

Here are my emotions while watching:

Pity
Sadness
Awe
Humility

That dog is a better man than I.

My neighbor just adopted a three leg dog (left front leg gone). This dog amazes me - things like going up stairs and such are no big deal for this dog.

I call him "Tripod." His real name is "Scooter," which is just as apropos I guess.

:-)

I failed your dare, if shamefully.

GooberMcFly: I dare you not to laugh...

funny but also amazing (!) ps, the dog is not smiling, he is panting because he is hot.

2005-03-03 05:27:25 PM
dogs also pant because they are excited or stressed...

my dog pants so drool will soak through my pants, which makes me stand up to get out of his way, which makes him think he's getting food

it's like a Laurel and Hardy skit 24/7 at my house

I stopped in to say, "Nice headline!" but your link is MUCH better. Funny and compelling...

2005-03-03 05:36:16 PM
You don't eat a great dog like that all at once.

2005-03-03 05:36:56 PM
Ok, so what I don't get is why they have the 2 legged dog on a leash...is it *really* going to outrun them?

2005-03-03 05:37:27 PM
If there was ever a dog who deserves a steak for dinner, it's Sasha.

When I watched that video segment, I swear to God that Queen's "You're my best friend" came on the radio at work and I nearly burst into tears. Faith. Thanks.

Little known fact about 3-legged dogs - while they can do most anything their non-paw-challenged counterparts can, they sink like a stone in water and can't swim to save their lives.

/mine had 3 legs for the last 8 of 15 years of life
//still miss him greatly sigh

I've seen video footage of 2-legged dogs, both ways.

The one with only 2 rear legs was on Maury, and I think was the ebaumsworld video(can't check from work). Walked like a chicken.

There's the other dog with no rear legs, and was IIRC also featured in a fark article. Walked on the front and did the act of comforting other dogs in the owners' dog rescue shelter. Shows you the human emotions dogs can do(that and the pic of the horrified pug).

I don't really think that animals missing limbs are funny... but that's just me.
