2005-02-22 07:21:23 PM
If the Queen thinks she's not important enough to go, who does she think should? I know the William and Harry probably aren't too thrilled about this either.

That is one COLD old lady...

2005-02-22 07:22:52 PM

Sometimes, when I'm bored in class, I draw the front page of TotalFark in my notebook and pretend I'm really here.

/Not really

That's not why she's not going. RTFA.

Chuckie and the horse will probably have a better time at the wedding without Mum looking severe at the antics. BTW.. my mum boycotted my wedding too. Cold is too nice of a word for her.

2005-02-22 07:26:02 PM
OK the headline was Puntabulous!

2005-02-22 07:26:39 PM
Hey, she went to the first one. Watched him fark that up. Covered it up when he murdered his ex. She's doesn't have watch him marry his old nag, too.

Royal wave for the headline.

2005-02-22 07:27:44 PM
You know, it took me a few readthroughs to get the headline, and I'm a classic rock fan. I hang my head in shame and offer a hearty thumbs up to submitter for a great headline.

2005-02-22 07:27:45 PM
Naming my kid after the submitter...

BizarreRecords

Well, maybe not. But great headline!

2005-02-22 07:28:12 PM
The Brits are so farking obsessed with the Royals.

In defense of the horse, she hasnt always been so horsy looking. She looked pretty decent when she was younger.

2005-02-22 07:28:26 PM
I'm glad Prince is getting married, but he really should have never broken up with Carmen Electra.

The Queen would just bring the party down. Any one for dirty dancin' with Cammy?

2005-02-22 07:34:57 PM
Haha, it took me a while to get it, but very, very clever pun, submitter

I wanna tell her that I love her a lot

God save the Queen

. . . a piece of the cake.

2005-02-22 07:48:19 PM
I love the way everybody is against this Bowles woman, although she's done nothing to warrant it except being the object of Chucky's affections, and yet they are for an unstable, manipulative, publicity-addicted bad parent who's now embedded in a wall in Paris somewhere.

I guess it's a looks thing.

2005-02-22 07:48:44 PM
After cutting the cake, will Charles feed Camilla the traditional piece or feed her a sugar cube?

2005-02-22 07:48:57 PM
Is there going to be an open bar? Maybe that's why she isn't going? If I were the queen of England I would be a lush!

/already am... shiat!
//hangovers are a biatch

2005-02-22 07:49:19 PM
So, they can't get married in the C of E, as Camilla's ex-husband is still alive and there was admitted adultery, but they can have a "church blessing"?

I'm a little confused - I thought a wedding in church WAS a church blessing (eg, if they can't have one, why can they have the other?).

Could an Anglican/Episcopalian kindly explain the difference (links to texts if you can find them)? I can't find a reference to that particular ceremony via Google...

No shiate - she barely managed to toddle out of the palace gate to watch her daughter-in-law's coffin go past. She probably did a little happy dance once they shut the palace doors again too.

Now her son is finally getting married to someone he actually cares about, and she still has to make it all about what's "proper".

Sheesh. Fark her.

This makes me slightly ashamed to be Canadian. Props to the U.S. for completely ditching these idiots rather than the half-assed "we can still be friends" that Canada gave them. I'm not anti-Brit, but the whole monarchy thing is out of date and irrelevent, yet they still seem to take it seriously.

2005-02-22 07:53:43 PM
Fair enough! I don't think he went to her wedding either.

Not really what's happening. Charles wants to keep it low-key (understandably), and the Queen's presence would automatically preclude that.

To be fair, a number of Brits feel the same way.

/not even vaguely ashamed to be Canadian
