In my younger,more idealistic days, I spent three months in between my junior and senior year of college working in a program to rehab "urban" crack addicts. Trust me,if no crackpipes were available,these people would gouge out the eyes of an 80 year old woman and pack steel wool in the sockets to blaze a rock if it took it. Sounds like the NAACP should focus on the glorification of CRACK DEALERS in movies and music instead of wasting their time with the actual pipes. Flame all you want,but I live in Atlanta where a lot of these rappers live and unless you live in Harlem or Watts then STFU about this subject.

some people just don't get it...it's called plausible deniability. the store owners don't actually know what the pipes/bongs are being used for. The "official" intended use is tobacco and as far as the store owners/employees know that's what it's being used for. It's not like some stoner is going into the store, buying a bong and sparking a nugget right in the store. (they have back rooms for that)

if the pres can "plausibly deny" the existence of area-51 then headshop owners can do the same with their products.

I read the article and I nothing about the NAACP, other than the person in the article happens to be the local NAACP group president.
If you remove any mention of him being a local NAACP offical, it would just be someone trying to get places to not sell things that can be used for both legal and illegal uses, and that he is on some charges because he stole the stuff so they wouldn't be able to sell it.
I consider the NAACP stuff irrelevent and adds very little to the article, and the headline submitted is misleading.

Anybody ever drink a hit? Get a clear glass wet and put it in the freezer until it frosts over. Take a lit joint and stick the non-lit side into a straw. Put the straw/lit joint into the botton of the glass and blow slowly and circularly while rising until the cup is full. The smoke will stay there for quite a while. You then just drink it as usual except you breath it down instead of drinking (which is kind of tricky if you're already stoned). It's mostly just a cool visual trick but it's also about as big as a gravity hit.
