I don't think he's getting laid. Both animals have been fixed, and breeding those things is illegal here. They're cute, though. Cute and FEROCIOUS!

Davison said Blue and his new girlfriend are "wonderful together," but there will be no Blue babies in the future -- bobcat breeding is illegal in Kentucky and both cats are fixed.

Thank god for contraception for bobcats...

A one-year old female cat? What's that in human years? Still seems like jailbait to me.

Welcome to FARK - all Kentucky all the time. Meanwhile, over in Louisville, Sam the Barber had a loose bowel movement this morning.

Anyone else find it funny seeing this topic heading only a few lines above the one about Lexington and Drew? Or am I the only who drew that conclusion? ;)

2002-03-14 12:09:25 PM
Is breeding with bobcats illegal, too?

2002-03-14 12:10:54 PM
a blue cat?

hmm...

2002-03-14 12:14:09 PM
I thought Drew was the KY mascot?

Does Blue have blue-balls?

2002-03-14 12:16:19 PM
Dude, one year old? That's totally jailbait!

"Also, having the cats in one pen illustrates to students the differences between male and female bobcats."

Yeah and the students that REALLY want to know the difference can find out for themselves by jumping in the pen to find out.

Caution - Darwinism at work.

She arrived a few months ago from Woods and Wetlands, a small nature center in Cadiz. Unlike Blue, she will not be named.

"We don't name our animals because we don't like people to think of them as pets," Laurie Davison, Salato education administrator said.

So what are you going to call it? "Hey you - the object of Blue's farkation - your lunch is here!"

Always thought that Valpo was an amusing nickname for Valparaiso; makes 'em sound like they're a dog-food plant or something.

wtf, It said "get laid" but he was farking castrated damit...he only had got himself a girlfriend...

2002-03-14 12:18:44 PM
Yeah, I thought this was a reference to the Drew article posted earlier. Remeber, he's a celebrity now so he gets laid all the time, right? ;)

2002-03-14 12:19:17 PM
'Fixed' (read: castrated) just means his nuts were cut off. It doesn't mean he can't fark anymore. It just won't produce anything. :)

How much free time do they have in Kentucky that they're passing laws on the sexual activities of Bobcats?

WTF?

2002-03-14 12:20:24 PM
They didn't name her cause then Blue would have to care about it. He can just call her biatch now.

Kentucky Basketball Update

Chiles...leaving
Carrier...leaving
Parker...failed drug test
Daniels...failed drug test
Tubby...asked to resign and refused

Standard disclaimer: This is not confirmed, but I have it on pretty good authority from someone that is close to the UK program.

But hey...if it is true, you can say you heard it on FARK first...

Congrats, Drew!!

Wouldn't a critter lose the motivation to skroo when it lost its 'nads? Maybe they schnipped this one late after he'd learned the behaviour? Can't think that the female would be too receptive, though. Don't most animals do it because of hormonal urges, not because they know it's fun?

She doesn't have an "official" name, but I think I'll call her "Blue's biatch"

2002-03-14 12:46:15 PM
It's only too bad Kentucky just stopped at banning bobcats from breeding.

Diogenes It may be legal in lebanon, but only with the female.

2002-03-14 02:43:17 PM
The bobcats are caged to protect them from that limey goat-farking guy...

2002-03-14 03:37:36 PM
if she hadn't been fixed, blue could still get a little dry humpin in when she went in heat. But since her cycle has been eliminated, they're just like my uncle mel and aunt bonnie before viagra

Kentucky Breeding Patterns Explained:

Kentucky ain't that bad. Actually most dating here goes on between 2nd cousins, not 1st. I'm kinned to everyone in my town in some way or another, so I would have to move to another state to avoid fathering a slack-jawed yokel. People in Kentucky who don't move to another state to breed will have kids with kin, considering all towns here except 5 are large enough to have a diverse gene pool.
