Look, some people in this thread need to grow up. I am no Duke fan, but a lot of the whining I am sure comes from the jealousy of Duke being a great basketball program. Yes I think Dookies are obnoxious and they get all the calls, but a lot of the hate is unjustified.

As far as some of the more blue comments, that stuff should be purged. So you guys kiss your mother with that mouth?

With that said, anyone remember when Duke had that bad year and suddenly Coach K had to sit out with "exhaustion"? Poor old assistant coach Pete Gaudet had to absorb the losses on his resume - despite the fact that Krzyzewski was still the contractual head coach, and Gaudet was still employed as an assistant, the Duke media guide doesn't credit Krzyzewski with those losses. Poor Pete Gaudet, today he is like an insurance salesman or something for his troubles.

So now Duke has lost 2 already and looks vulnerable. And suddenly Krzyzewski is fainting. I'm not saying anything for certain, but if Duke really goes into the tank, I'd be extrmely wary of a sudden Krzyzewski illness that forced him to sit out the season.

/hoping Coach K doesn't drop dead now.

I'm glad Coach K. is ok. But boy do I hate Duke. The NCAA has two sets of rules; one for NCAA Div. 1 and one for Duke U. Ask Corey Maggette. He'll tell you. Also I'm sick of the press acting like Coach K is a class act. I love it when CBS zero's in on him and he's cussing a blue streak.

Coach K himself was joking about how lame it was afterwards and that he was going to get ribbed at home for passing out by his wife and daughters.

There was a Coach K at my high school, and that's who I first thought of. he was so old that he could have collapsed for a number of reasons - heart attack, diabetic shock. The response wouldn't have been "no way! you're kidding!" it would be "why?"

Being a NCSU fan I can say that if you are using the outcome of sporting events to determine where you want to go to school you might as well call it for Duke now.

We had football (with Rivers) to make up for the decade and a half of suckage in BB, now it looks like even FB will go the way of all NCSU atheletics.
