That headline is a cut above the rest, it really highlights some of Farks best qualities and fringe benefits.

Police are combing the area...

2005-01-28 02:24:59 AM
I willing to bet the salon owners wish the criminals would just curl up and dye.

2005-01-28 02:25:55 AM
What a bald-faced attempt to implant bad hair puns in our brains.

2005-01-28 02:28:16 AM
Pondering ....

When several people submit the same story with practically the same headline (c'mon, certain "zingers" for this one were practically mandatory), who gets it? Does it go to whomever submitted first? Or th one with the most previous submissions? Or ???

Geez, I live in the area and this hasn't been a major news story (until some AP person found it amusing).

2005-01-28 02:33:35 AM

Judging from the number of glowing comments about the headline, I'll assume that it's just me that doesn't find bad puns that funny. OK, maybe this headline has some good puns, but I still don't find them that funny.

Plus, there seems to be a many more pun-based headlines in the past month or so. What gives.

2005-01-28 08:59:34 AM
Great headline submitter :) It's been the hi-light of my day so far

"Begin the day with a friendly voice
A companion unobtrusive
Who plays that song that's so elusive
And the magic music makes your morning move"

Glad to see a Rush reference in a headline, although I don't know what it has to do with hair salons.

2005-01-28 02:53:58 PM
