These types of criminals deserve a far more cruel and/or unusual punishment than our legal system allows.

Her truck turned up at an Arizona hospital -- driven by a man needing treatment for a gunshot wound, authorities said.

Godamn sounds like a struggle

Whamdangler's right. Shonblatt lives in North Korea.

2005-01-21 12:43:07 PM

2005-01-21 12:43:38 PM
WTF is Walmart allowing their employees to leave with no security at 11:45 PM? ANYONE who works or has worked in retail knows this is absolute F-ing B/s. I HATE WALMART.

2005-01-21 12:43:47 PM
not North Korea. Iowa, where we don't have the death penalty.

2005-01-21 12:44:28 PM
My god, She must have said something bad about the wal-mart..

2005-01-21 12:44:45 PM

2005-01-21 12:45:01 PM

Why is this Walmart's responsibility again?

2005-01-21 12:45:08 PM

I win. They should lethal inject him in the nuts.

2005-01-21 12:45:31 PM
Ugh. RIP.

2005-01-21 12:46:01 PM
sure, they had security. They have camera's mounted on the roof so they can watch tape of someone being abducted.

Texas has the death penalty still, right? nuff said.

2005-01-21 12:46:03 PM
This is sad....sad...sad..sad...

the guy who did this should get the electric chair, after becoming bubba's next best friend for a few years.

For some reason, I think those gunshots are the least of his worries.

2005-01-21 12:46:05 PM
No they don't x infinity + 1

2005-01-21 12:46:14 PM
at least she shot his farking ass. wish she'd shot his nuts off.

2005-01-21 12:46:20 PM
kurt-roges if you have ever worked in any kind of retail or restaurant establishment, you would know that late at night security frequently observes employees leaving their place of employment. Sorry if I'm jsut an old fashioned guy, but I don't think young women need to be walking out to an empty parking lot alone and unobserved at almost midnight in fricking Tyler, TX of all places.

2005-01-21 12:46:46 PM
reason 267,018 not to have anything to do with Wal-Mart.

2005-01-21 12:47:05 PM
shonblatt

75'd!

2005-01-21 12:47:20 PM
kurt-roges because it's their parking lot. When I use to work at Target they had security guards come out by the front door to watch and make sure everyone got out safely.

2005-01-21 12:47:34 PM
Damned Wal-mart. It's all their fault. Look what they do to the community.

2005-01-21 12:47:47 PM
I hope these assface rots forever

2005-01-21 12:47:59 PM
Did they poker? That'd be one game of Texas Holden I wouldn't like to play.

/confirm ticket.

2005-01-21 12:48:12 PM
I dont have anything to say. Perhaps that mans genitalia should be shredded like a string cheese. We can figure out how Online.

2005-01-21 12:48:13 PM
Poor kid. I went to TJC. She would have loved it there, I know I did.

2005-01-21 12:48:24 PM
Martin said Holden's mother had been in a wreck while driving to Tyler, where she was shaken and covered with cuts and bruises.

"She was on her way here and flipped her car three times," a family member said. "She should have gone to the hospital, but she is concerned about her daughter."

wtf ?!

2005-01-21 12:48:35 PM
No they don't.

/dammit

2005-01-21 12:48:38 PM
Kill the bastard. That's all.

2005-01-21 12:48:45 PM
Wal-Mart "security" allowed the guy to loiter outside the front doors for over 90 minutes.

Yes, Wal-Mart can accept some responsibility for this one.

2005-01-21 12:48:51 PM
May God rest her soul!
As for the low-life scumbag who murdered her, may you rot in hell! He should get the death penalty in Texas. Fry his pathetic butt!

2005-01-21 12:49:08 PM
I'll stick up for Whamdangler, though death threats will probably ensue.

2005-01-21 12:49:19 PM
Seriously, that is very sad news. I wasn't aware of the abduction at all, but it makes me mad that someone's life can end- and many others' get turned upside down- so easily in an act of random violence.

2005-01-21 12:49:33 PM
Why is everybody assuming she shot the guy? Why is everybody assuming that the guy who was shot is even the same guy?

Are you all so incredibly farking retarded? Wait, I'm on fark... nevermind.

"Why is this Walmart's responsibility again?"

Because until you get in your car and drive off the parking lot you are still under the responsibility of the retailer. It is their property and if someone gets kidnapped and/or killed on their property because they didn't provide enough security it is their responsibility.

Hell at my office building if you are here late you can make a call to the roaming security guy and he'll come to your office and escort you to your car if you want.

In high school I worked at McDonalds and their policy on openers and closers was to stay in your car in the morning until the manager gets there. Don't wait around the doors. At night for closers everyone walks out together. No one leaves the store that late alone.

2005-01-21 12:50:04 PM
Holy crap!! Tyler is just a few miles from here. Creepy.

2005-01-21 12:50:19 PM
kurt-roges

Not to jump on the bandwagon here, but do you think the girl should have had a personal bodyguard or something?

If Target can do it (and they do) then Wal-Mart can too.

That is, if they were to give a fark about their employees (which they don't).

2005-01-21 12:50:20 PM
Anyone who works late nights, especially females, should be escorted to their cars. Please please have a friend walk you to your car!!

2005-01-21 12:50:37 PM
Yeah that's true, string him up. I'm normally fairly anti-death penalty (especially here in Texas), as I believe that locking someone in a room alone with nothing but their thoughts for 50 years or so is much greater punishment than a simple death, plus other arguments irrelevant here. But every so often we have one of these cases where I wish we could still dust off the old gallows.

2005-01-21 12:50:42 PM
I'd like to inform you that security basically does not exist in ANY dept store anymore. Sure they may have a shift on a Friday or Saturday afternoon. But late night security doesn't exist because they don't want to pay them.

Because the stores will do anything to save money nowadays.

So feel free to steal, kill, maim, fight, and break stuff as long as it isn't a weekend at 5pm.

2005-01-21 12:50:52 PM
Anywhere I've worked where there was a dark parking lot, every manager made it clear that if you wanted an escort to your car, you would get it, whether you were male or female. I'm sure Wal-Mart is the same.

If she didn't have an escort to her car, it was because she didn't ask for one. I am in no way saying this was the victim's fault, just saying that the posters who think Wal-Mart doesn't have a policy and are at fault are smoking crack.
