Old news, whats going on with fark, have we used all the good links already?
2002-03-09 03:30:29 AM
a stupid site dedicated to stupid web-surfers? this site needs an [image from too old to be available] tag.

as an offical member of MENSA, I am offended. I thought fark was for us smarties, so that we could make fun of the dummards.

I'm with Evil on this one. I even waited until my MENSA membership came through to visit fark. Now I must reconsider...

Okay, how many REAL Mensa members are around here?

(nervously raises hand)

Oh, I get it. They replaced the M with a D and it is like "dense" as in thick-headed or stupid. Oh, you're killing me.

Clearly we have reached the end of the internet and all links will begin re-appearing in reverse order until we reach 1991 again.

Evil: that's what I thought.

Not only am I evil, I'm chaotic evil. And I also have a goatee.

The only content on this site was an order form for a $25 hat. Boo to this.

I took the MENSA test once a few years ago. Missed it by a question or two. What irked me about it, is that it is made up of puzzle questions, like a bunch of jumbled up letters that you are supposed to make words out of. If you really want to test someone's intelligence, as questions like these:

1. How is beer made?
2. Write an IP routing table for a corporate network with 5 domains.
3. Name the company that owns the internet.
4. What are the monthly payments on a new car that cost $25,000 over 5 years at 5.9% interest, with no down payment?
5. Define the work "Fark".
6. What kind of fish are usually caught in a "DCR.NET"?
7. How many spark plugs are in a 6 cylinder diesel engine?
8. Is John Basedow gay?
9. What is the IQ of a baked potato?
10.What does the term "38D" mean to the average American male?

Evil: I am a member. Also joined Intertel a long time ago because it looked like a good thing to have on my resume.

7. How many spark plugs are in a 6 cylinder diesel engine?

Clever! I almost fell for that.

Yes, Carol Vorderman is a member (and the Chairperson at one time, I believe). Also, she can spell fun words just like Vanna White...

Ummm.... Those are the people in the AOL commercials that say stupid stuff like "AOL 7.0 is fast" and "AOL is easy to use" and "*insert glaring technical error made by AOL user that a computer geek would spot in 0.0001 seconds*". Some of those AOL users actually believe that AOL is the internet. No, really, I swear, some of them actually think that AOL is the internet.

So easy to use, no wonder it's number 1!
