Once you get the technique down, a followup shave once or twice a week is all you really need. And I've never used aftershave down there before, I imagine that it'd hurt like a motherfarker.
The bottom line is this: Your girlfriend/wife/mistress (or if you're a fag, your man-toy) doesn't want a mouthful of hair, and neither do you, so do yourself and your loved one a favour and SHAVE THAT BAG!
