You can see it around 9 PM Chicago time if you look at Orion and follow the path of the belt to the right.

The "Orion's right leaning wang" indicator was most helpful, TY.

When I drive to edge of the city to avoid the light pollution, I will gaze upward in search of Orion's Wang. I predict that my wife will reply: "That's pretty gay, dontcha' think?"

...not that there's anything wrong with that

Actually, Don used to teach a bible study class at his church, so I kinda doubt it...
/is in same astronomy club (SVAS) as Machholz
