The site is loading sorta slow, so in the event the link gets farked, here is the text:

UFO Sightings over Iranian nuclear installations
Iranian Air Force orders shoot at sight but admits technical inability

Iranians complained about Unidentified Flying Objects at very low altitudes around its nuclear installations all around the country. United States has excellent satellite imagery and hence do not need low altitude spy planes to monitor the activities as the Iranian nuclear scientists and engineers as they assemble their nukes.

Sources in Iran say, the Iranian Air Force have admitted these sighting and assuming these are US spy crafts, directed Iranian Air Force to shoot them down at sight.

Sources also reveal that Iranian Air Force have failed shoot down even a single UFO and many in Iranian Air Force are complaining about lack of technical ability in shooting these UFOs down.

Iranian Air Force.... oh lord, the comedy.

"Sir, those things... in the air..."
"Shoot them down, man!"
"Okay"
"Well? Do you PLAN on shooting them down today?"
"Uh, sir...? How should we shoot them, sir?"
"BLAST!!!"

I think we've been seeing more and more of these kinds of stories lately. Maybe the end really is near!

I think it's pronounced "nukuler."

I guess we ran out of Rednecks living in remote spots and no video cameras, over here. So the Greys had to go to some other backwards theocratic Redneckistan for a fresh supply of cousin humping no tooth gullible rubes to anally probe.

The number of UFO sightings is directly proportional to the cost of a camcorder.

Yeah Believe it or not the "UFO" had the very alien like markings of "USAF" on the side...

/I want to believe
//not really...

The number of UFO sightings is directly proportional to the cost of a camcorder.

Shouldn't that be INVERSELY proportional? I guess to be fair directly doesn't always mean positive

Was Col. Ed Straker involved?

It all sounds like the plot to some bad movie starring Darren McGavin.

2004-12-26 01:29:37 PM
What the Iranians also don't have the technial capability of filming the said UFOs?

2004-12-26 01:34:05 PM
No, it would be directly proportional to the cost of a camcorder

More UFO Sightings = Higher cost of camcorers, hence no footage.

Less UFO Sightings = Cheaper camcorders, but alas, no UFOs to camcord.

mr0x: What the Iranians also don't have the technial capability of filming the said UFOs?

Yeah, you'd think the first-gen F-14's we sold the Iranians would be filming the fark out of this on their gun cameras. I think they automatically record as long as they're using the cannon on the plane, too - and that's what makes sense if you can't acquire missile lock.

2004-12-26 01:36:24 PM
Of course, if they bombed one of our nuclear reactors
that would be and unprovoked act of terrorism, right?

Yeah, you'd think the first-gen F-14's we sold the Iranians would be filming the fark out of this on their gun cameras.

Please consider where they would get spare parts to keep those F-14s flying over the last 25 years.

Am i the only one missing the point behind this statement or was it just supposed to be flame bait since from what i saw the "UFO's" arent shooting at the reactors just flying away and the iranian air force cant seem to shoot them down.

Ah, that was us on our flying Harleys. You can tell by the mysterious trail of unworldly Foster's cans we left, and the eldritch yellow 'UFO fluid' that was jettisoned.

We took a lot of photos, left a lot of ... fluid. Mooned their Air Force. It is quite a ride though, even at Mach 6, so we popped over to Blessing and spent the night. Still just a pile of dusty concrete blocks. Figured they'd have used some paint by now. Meh.

Anyways, next trip we get to ferry over a couple dozen 18's, there will be an unfortunate assembly 'accident', Miller time will ensue, a good time will be had by all.

2004-12-26 01:55:28 PM
I doubt these UFOs are American spy planes- like the article stated, we have plenty of sattelites that could get pictures; likewise, we'd be using high-altitude spyplanes rather than low-altitude ones.

More likely, it's someone in Europe who's trying to keep tabs on Iran's nuclear program; or possibly Israel. I'm sure we'd be more than happy not to mention Israeli spy planes flying through Iraqi airspace on the way to Iran. Although, of course, why there hasn't been any film of these UFOs taken is beyond me.

The alternate tinfoil-hat theory that comes to mind is that Iran is attempting to quell dissatisfaction domestically via convincing their people that they're being watched by sinister external forces (which can later be associated with whoever's politically convenient).

Saudi?

Nope, Saudi Arabia doesn't fly F-14s, they fly F-15s.

Beyond Iran, Grumman tried to sell F-14s to Germany, Japan, and Canada, but the deals never went through.

I have read that the Iranians are receiving Russian help on maintaining their F-14s, but I don't have any way of authenticating that claim.

Hmmm, first thing I thought of was Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge. If their troops start getting mind controlled and turned into hulkish freaks, we should all be worried.

Can't iran just nuke the UFO's?

Also, this solitifies my theory that the United States has UFO technology and is using it for recon missions.

remember bush has warned iran from interfering with the iraqi elections or they will suffer some consequence. i wouldn't be surprised if this was the us trying to flex their muscles a little and put a little pressure, a little arm-twisting, onto the iranians: i'm not saying it's likely, but it's certainly very possible

Simply put "I dunno"
Can be construed as UFO.

The first generation F-14's did not have "gun cameras", it wasn't until the TCS system was installed did they also get "gun cameras." You can either recored through the TCS or the "gun camera", if you are recoring through the TCS and one of the fire buttons (there are several) is pushed it will automatically switch to the gun camera for some period of time.
