I don't wish injuries on anybody, but I'm not exactly shedding a tear for TO either.

Go AFC.

The Patriots dynasty ends this year in the playoffs against Indianapolis or Pittsburgh... my money is on Indianapolis.

At least T.O. isn't a straight up asshole like Moss or Keyshawn. T.O. is entertaining.

You skeptics are about to see just how deep this Philly team is.

GO BIRDS!

Can anyone say karma for being a jerkoff?

No class left in the NFL. I remember with admiration how Barry Sanders would just smile and flip the ball to the ref after a touchdown. Nothing but stupid, arrogant dancing, Sharpies and cell phones.

As an Eagles fan (which gives everyone fuel enough to flame me), we had a helluva team (barring injuries) last season and the season before and GEE, the season before that, so I'm not that concerned, since TO doesn't make up our entire team.

That being said, for all of you who decide that it's ok to laugh at the Eagles for losing the last 3 consecutive NFC Championship Games (which I completely understand, since, as a fan, no one better than me knows how hard those losses were to take), I have one question for you.........

WHERE WERE YOUR TEAMS FOR THOSE 3 CONSECUTIVE YEARS OF THAT CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?

Oh, that's right, they were HOME, sitting on their asses, because they hadn't done WELL ENOUGH to even make it.

/E A G L E S - EAGLES!!!!!!! GO BIRDS!!!!!

2004-12-20 06:28:32 PM
Well, Michael Vick is now the only hope the NFC has to take the Super Bowl this year.

Saying this as a Packers Fan.

Another regular year for Philadelphia fans. We get our hopes up and then get kicked in the balls by reality,

2004-12-20 06:29:17 PM
Man...you people sure know how to destroy anyone and everything on here...you must all be media darlings...

2004-12-20 06:29:22 PM
I think the Eagles could still take the NFC crown, but some of the reserves like Freddie "Fred Ex" Mitchell (of "4th & 26" fame) will really have to step up.

Still, whoever the NFC champion is, they are probably toast in the Super Bowl. It's just as well... remember the 13 year winning streak by the NFC, when it didn't matter who represented the AFC, they were automatic 10 point underdogs. Since then the AFC has taken 5 of the last 7.

/Steelers fan in Philly, still hoping for the all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl... we got sooo close in '02

2004-12-20 06:31:41 PM
Anyone have any video of the hit?

2004-12-20 06:31:57 PM
patrick ewing effect, anyone?

No, the Ewing Theory is reserved for bad or underacheiving teams. Also, it usually applies to the biggest superstar on the team.

Philly can't be considered bad or underacheiving this year, and I would say McNabb is the their biggest superstar, not T.O.

You know it doesn't matter because my team and the eagles were both at home during the superbowl.

2004-12-20 06:36:46 PM
WOOO! good riddance TO, you're a disgrace.

go ely!

2004-12-20 06:37:57 PM
G_Fish: That is true, but you don't hear me crying about it. I look forward to every season as a new beginning and a new hope. TO isn't the be all, end all of our team. Him being here added to the team, him not being able to play can inspire the guys who have to step up, to do just that.

I have a lot of hope and that's why I've been able to be an Eagles fan for 38 years. Plus, I grew up in the 700 level of Vet, so I'm a tough girl when I need to be ;)

Go Seahawks!

What's the response to if you want to see him stop dancing then stop him from getting the ball and scoring? He doesn't dance if he doesn't score.

2004-12-20 06:39:10 PM
I didn't see the hit on TO, but it couldn't have been worse than this one.

Hey, 8-8 is getting our Hawks a home playoff game, and with the sorry state of the NFC, who knows?

2004-12-20 06:41:16 PM

The Road to the Superbowl will run through Green Bay after the Eagles lose in the 2nd round!

2004-12-20 06:42:17 PM
lilspiel

That was the Steelers' strategy when they played. If I recall, TO had nothing in that game, aside from a few short receptions.

2004-12-20 06:42:26 PM
I would never wish an injury on anyone, but I couldn't possibly wish more misfortune upon the organization's of the Eagles, Redskins, and 49'ers. I love to see them fail.

/go cowboys (next year)

2004-12-20 06:43:20 PM
Hmmm, let's see Brian Westbrook, Todd Pinkston (eh, bit of sissy but he can pull off some good plays), Freddie Mitchell, Chad Lewis, LJ Smith, Dorsey Levins, hmmmmmm, none of these terrific players sounds like TO to me :DD

As I said, TO was an addition to an already great team.

Plenty of people for Donovan to go to.

2004-12-20 06:43:38 PM
truth be told the eagles have had some of the sloppiest wins ive seen in awhile. Colts going the distance.....uuuuhhhhggggggg dolphin fan since marino became the football god.

2004-12-20 06:43:38 PM
Its sad when one player makes the difference between rocking and being rocked. Especially when its not even the QB.

/go steelers

That didn't help much in Pittsburgh, did it?
