Vince Neil's daughter died of cancer when she was four years old.

I think if my daughter died like that I'd be pretty messed up. So I'd cut him some slack.

I don't think I'd throw a punch at my soundman, though. The guy needs some anger management or something. Probably something involving laying off the tequila, or gin. Tequila is major-league fight fuel for a lot of folks.

No, that was Dimebag Darrell (who, coincidentally used to go by the name of Darrell Diamond).

Don't be fooled - ol' Dimebag and the rest of Pantera used to wear spandex and eye make up just like Motley Crue back in those days. Just like Anthrax, Slayer and all the hard core devil bands.

Wine makes you dramatic

funniest (sickest?) part Motley Crue's "The Dirt" autobiography: Ozzy snorting a column of live ants, then pissing on the floor, drinking it, and then having Nikki piss on the floor and drink that as well. The most asinine part: Nikki Sixx ODs on smack, is declared clinically dead for 2 minutes, is brought back to life, wakes up from his hospital room, pulls out all the tubes, runs home to go do some more smack.

Heard they're making a movie about the book, but I'm afraid it's going to be too much like "Rock Star"

Tequila must work differently on the brain. I can deal with rum drunks - those people just get happy. The tequila folks get quiet though, and then really explosive and nasty. Anybody ordering two tequila shots gets flagged after the second one. Tequila is *not* for having a good time if you're doing shots.

/thankful for roofers at bars. If you drink at a bar with roofers, you learn to be polite. They've got arms like railroad ties, and they don't like angry drunks.

It is spelled "appointment", and there is no god.

Hmmm. Should that have been a semicolon instead of a comma?

Say what you want about The Crue, but damn, they sure lived life to the fullest. And that my friends, is what Rock N' Roll is all about.

Why the hell is that a misdemeanor? A knock out punch can kill you.

Anyone who punches at the face/head/neck is trying to kill. Maybe they're too stupid to know that... but that is for the court to decide.

What the hell is Motley Crue doing at Gilley's anyway?!?

I thought they didn't much like fat queers there.

Sadly, sucking shiat to the fullest is not what rock 'n' roll is about.

Why won't he die? He's right up there with that asshat Axle Rose. They should go out drinking and driving together.

I've always hated Motley Crue.

and you've always been a queer.

Motley Crue was one of the gretest rock bands of all time. They personified Rock. That's why it's so sad to see them hanging on past their prime.

2004-12-17 01:18:45 AM
There's music, and then there's Motley Crue, dude.

Why is it that all the brilliant musical minds like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Buddy Holly, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison have to die?

Hit like a girl?

All the girls I know do kung fu. If Vince hit me like any of those girls, I'm pretty sure I'd regret it. No, I think it's more along the lines of "hitting like a wuss."

If you want to see a real piece of work, just find a recent picture of the group and take ak peek a Mick Mars. He's a dead ringer for the Crypt Keeper....or any random person in the nursery home.

I think I'm gonna go down to thhe shore.

Whadda ya gonna do down there?

Uh, I don't know, play some video gamess, buy some Def Leppard t-shirts.

Don't forget your Motley Crue t-shirt; ya know all proceeds go to get their lead singer out a' jail.

Uh huh.

Can't wait to go down.

For people ripping on the music, have a little perspective please. The band was young ( except for Mick ) and living one long party when fame and fortune hit. How mature do you expect the music to be? They were freaking rock stars, running wild and out of control. Not musicians, rock stars, and the music was written for teenage boys ( except for Home Sweet Home ) to rock out to. Were you really expecting a high degree of maturity or musical ability?

As for Vince, like someone said above, he lost his daughter to farking cancer when she was four. I would probably be drunk every day after something like that. He is a sad man, and nothing brings back your daughter. He needs help.

I thought Vince had a broken leg in a cast? What's he doing running and leaping over sound boards?

/shamefully admitting I know anything about Vince's physical condition

2004-12-17 06:01:56 AM
Were you really expecting a high degree of maturity or musical ability?

It's times like this that I think of a memorable movie moment:

Bond: Do you expect me to talk?
Goldfinger: No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die.

That strikes true here too.

As for Vince, like someone said above, he lost his daughter to farking cancer when she was four. I would probably be drunk every day after something like that.

Sadly the child had more maturity than Vince.

Many people lose their children in tragic circumstances but a very small majority act this pathetic.

Not a huge fan of the Crue, but they had a few kick ass tunes.

I would love to see one of the tools here mouth off to Vince in person so I could watch his 40+ fat, washed up ass knock them out as well.... of course most of the posters here wouldn't have the balls.

And for all those slagging the Crue, I would rather listen to them (even MC94) than whatever contrived corporate crap is cool this week....

Oh and Blastmycash awesome quote, and SO TRUE!

Soundman kept saying "needs more cowbell"

/surprised nobody posted this yet

So where are the A-Rod pictures? Or am I the only one that thinks of him when the phrase "hitting like a girl" is mentioned?

/pause

Apparently, I am the only one. Carry on.

2004-12-17 08:31:39 AM
Um, how the fark is knocking someone unconsciouss "hitting like a girl?" Did any of you RTFA?

And Vince was never THAT fat. He just likes to party hard and eat apparently. And beat up strippers and sound guys. So what, the Crue farking rocks. He has lost a LOT of weight and is looking good again, must be laying off the booze a bit, and the Red, White & Crue tour will be awesome.

/would love to have seen Vince kick Axl's ass back in the day. He would have, make no mistake about it, Axl is a puss.

If hitting like a girl is an arrestable offense, then...

...arrest this man.

2004-12-17 10:08:27 AM
Hit like a girl. Vince knocked the guy out - period.

Vince is tough, he has a rep for knocking people out.

2004-12-17 10:39:36 AM
To all you Vince haters:

Vince Neil probably

farked more biatches,
snorted more coke,
and killed more people in drunk driving accidents than everyone on this thread combined!!

2004-12-17 10:51:26 AM
No one mentioned it yet, but Vince's daughter Skyler died at age 4 of stomach cancer back in 1995. There's not a lot of information about her on the web any more, but it's still really sad.

I'm no fan of Vince Neil, but I think people who make fun of him should be ashamed of themselves. I doubt any of you losers have been through what he has.

2004-12-17 11:01:22 AM
An entire thread of jealousy!

A new Fark record!

2004-12-17 11:01:22 AM
The Crue kicks ass. Granted, the Spike TV performance was shameful, and Vince is a shadow of his former self, singing-wise, but they still know how to rock.

Skylar's death was tragic, but he used that as a crutch for FAR too long. The death of one's daughter does not excuse multiple assault charges over years and years.

Vince is good people.
I hope that he get's out of this.
He has a huge heart and is a kind soul.

2004-12-17 01:13:07 PM
BS. It's just a publicity stunt to garner attention for their upcoming tour.

2004-12-17 01:37:38 PM
I don't think I'd throw a punch at my soundman, though.

There isn't a working musician alive who hasn't wanted to punch the crap out of a soundman at one time or another.

You're a Farking dufus. First, you ignore that I was mocking the jackoff who was dissing you, as if you didn't get it, and then you change what I wrote and publish it as a quote. Is english your second language? You certainly type like it is.
