La pelicula es muy bueno. Es el pelicula superior de Wil Wheaton.

Hmmm...methinks a Spanish version of The Curse would actually IMPROVE my viewing pleasure!

Damned gendered nouns.

Who's Amy Wheaton?

2002-02-28 02:51:46 PM
From IMDB
Wil Wheaton once said that the only good thing about the movie was that his sister got a job on it.

2002-02-28 02:51:47 PM
IMDB's Amy Wheaton entry (I had to go look, too)

Yeah, she did a Star Trek episode with him too.

Wasn't there a few sequels? Direct to video type? I remember renting this in college.

2002-02-28 02:55:09 PM
hmm i'm still trying to figure out what the hell a wonderdog is

2002-02-28 02:57:22 PM
Did Wil have two roles in the movie?
this shows him in there twice.

2002-02-28 02:57:45 PM
From the IMDB user review: "On a scale of ONE to TEN, THE CURSE gets a 3, because the guy from Stand by Me is in it!"

Where to begin with the pictures on that auction.

I'll take door number 1 and go with Claude Aikins in an undershirt. I don't think the AAMCO guy makes a great sex symbol.

Pretty good makeup job on Wil.

Wow, Wesley and Sheriff Lobo did a movie together?

Why wasn't THIS riffed by Joel and the Bots?

Has anyone else noticed it is next to impossible to find decent headshots of Wil anywhere on the net? I've found good ones in each of his STTNG uniforms and one from Stand By Me... The one on his website is too small to really do much with.

2002-02-28 03:31:45 PM
Found something. Go here for lots of stills from the movie.

Did you see the name of the web site, childstarlets.com? Strikes me as verging on child pr0n. You can't much further into it unless you're a "registered member." Can you say, "FBI entrapment site"?

2002-02-28 03:46:12 PM
apparently i was in this movie too.

2002-02-28 03:53:40 PM
I remember The Curse. it was a horrible, horrible movie.

2002-02-28 04:01:35 PM
the only Curse about this movie is having to watch it

2002-02-28 04:03:46 PM
B.O.C.: Yeah, I got that feeling too, when I figured out that they only feature girls on the site (not that I should have figured it out from their use of the word 'starlets', mind you).

But as for an entrapment scheme? Seems a bit overboard to me.

Capt. Picard makes out with Wil's little sister, on the next TNG!!!!

Yeah, she was the one who stuck the critter on his back! Should have put it on his head. Shatner had the dead flattened tribble, Picard could have had the little fuzzy critter.

Amy is fIne.

Boojieboy: I know, it was a little overboard, but the thought just came to mind while I was looking at it and I nearly sprayed root beer out my nose.

Good find, I admire your investigative work. ;0

2002-02-28 05:10:27 PM
I got that same feeling when I stumbled across childstarlet.
I can't help but feel a little sleazed out whenever I'm hunting for movie images for pshops & wind up there.
Isn't brooke shields circa "Blue Lagoon" on the main page? #1 mainstream pedo flick out there next to the "Pippi Longstocking" films, forgive me but i did have a childhood crush on Anica*sigh* . . & Pippi to.

You can't make up shiat like this....

This movie is easily the worst pile of steaming dogshiat that was ever set loose upon the earth.

When young actors ask me about the importance of good agents and managers (to give you good advice about what roles to take, and which roles to pass on), I give them a copy of this movie, and kick myself in the nuts, on principle.

I'd buy this lobby card, but it's not worth my 5 bucks.

Or anyone's 5 bucks, for that matter.

Matter of fact, now that I think about it, the producers of this worthless waste of shiat should be required, by law, to give at least 5 bucks to everyone who watched it.

Incidentally, Lobo and Bo Duke were really, really cool guys in real life.

David Keith?? Only someone who went to UT would direct something this insipid. Just remember, nothing sucks like a big orange.

Watch a the preview of this excuse of a movie on IMDB to see a young Wil walk briefly in his tighty-whities, you sickos. :)

Wil: glad to see you can speak truthfully about your past movies. It takes balls in hollywood to admit you were in a movie that was so incredibly bad. But you recovered! Stand By me was good, the Curse is something you'd take off your resume.

2002-03-01 02:07:28 AM
You are all boorish philistines. The one and only reason to watch this movie is that the SPFX were supervised by none other than Lucio Fulci. If you don't know who that is do yourself a favour and find out.

2002-03-01 03:24:46 PM
C'mon Wil, don't hold back.

It might be worth it, just for the look on your face, for someone to come to you at a con to have the thing autographed.

You've never seen "Santa With Muscles," I take it.

When young actors ask me about the importance of good agents and managers

Wil, why do you lie?

(to give you good advice about what roles to take, and which roles to pass on),

You call Patrick Stewart? Well, his answering machine at least.

I give them a copy of this movie, and kick myself in the nuts, on principle.

POST PIX PLEASE

I'd buy this lobby card, but it's not worth my 5 bucks.

True...you need your five bucks to go towards the Internet access, right?

Or anyone's 5 bucks, for that matter.

Even mine?

Matter of fact, now that I think about it,

Don't go to any trouble on FARK's part.

the producers of this worthless waste of shiat should be required, by law, to give at least 5 bucks to everyone who watched it.

If I watch it will you send me five bucks?

Incidentally, Lobo and Bo Duke were really, really cool guys in real life.

Did they buy you beer?
