... they must not have gotten the memo. hunger strikes are SOOOO September 10th.
2004-12-12 02:56:35 PM
hopefully he'll starve to death. murderer.
2004-12-12 03:11:16 PM
Either that or they're not feeding him.
2004-12-12 03:11:57 PM
Better start filling that river!!!
2004-12-12 03:13:04 PM
Just starve him to death and call it a hunger strike.

Starve them all to death.
2004-12-12 03:13:10 PM
How cute, he's learning how to use passive resistance. Isn't a little late for that?
2004-12-12 03:13:45 PM

2004-12-12 03:14:57 PM
Dropping families in plastic shredders and feeding the mulch to fish isn't ill treatment, is it?
2004-12-12 03:14:59 PM
hehehe.. it's funny cause it's true.
2004-12-12 03:15:15 PM
all i can say is "buh-bye".
2004-12-12 03:15:19 PM
Old Iraqi Regime: "We will not eat. We hope to starve to death before being put on trial by the infidels."

All of America: "Um...ok."
2004-12-12 03:15:23 PM
He's not eating?

Uh, yeah.....good luck with that.
2004-12-12 03:17:41 PM
he should just do the right thing and hang himself in his cell.

so should scott peterson.
2004-12-12 03:17:55 PM
Cool, first decent thing he's ever done. Unfortunaly whats going on in Iraq has nothing to do with saddam (if it did he would be dead already).
2004-12-12 03:18:04 PM
After a few weeks with no food he'll know what it was like to be a Kurd under his rule.
2004-12-12 03:18:09 PM
They're just going to force feed him. Which wil make him suffer more which makes me happy.
2004-12-12 03:18:57 PM
Let him starve to death. It will save the tax payers the expense of putting the bastard on trial, and executing him afterwards.
2004-12-12 03:19:24 PM
My heart is bleeding.
2004-12-12 03:19:56 PM
Must be Ramadan. Good time to plan a "fasting protest".
2004-12-12 03:19:59 PM
Sweet. Of course, George W Bush is an even worse murderer, but, you know.
2004-12-12 03:21:11 PM
Why can't the government just be like.

"He had a heart attack. Our condolences go out to the hussein family (snicker)"

Next on Fox...
2004-12-12 03:21:27 PM
So now he knows what it was like for his people under his leadership.
2004-12-12 03:22:28 PM
"After a few weeks with no food he'll know what it was like to be a Kurd under his rule."

Awesome, AcornMan

THIS is how all dictators should end up ( NSFW )

Don't know who he is? Romania, December 1989.
2004-12-12 03:23:36 PM
That's right Ytadel. I shiver thinking about his secret police feeding me to a chipper because I voted for the other guy.

Really, you need to open your eyes to true evil, not our country's problems that pale in comparison. Most Americans have no idea how good we have it.

ooh i say. it's shocking, shocking.

[image from too old to be available]

is he still allowed a nice cup of tea?

2004-12-12 03:27:03 PM
I wonder id this will make mainstreamm news. There may not be enough room with the "Bush admits a little overweight" headline.

I can't see Saddam hitting this
2004-12-12 03:29:41 PM
Sweet... The guards should eat all of their meals in front of these asshats, then make them wash the dishes.

/Thinks Saddam should go on a breathing strike
2004-12-12 03:30:37 PM
every thing i wanted to say has been already- damn!
2004-12-12 03:32:56 PM
He's just trying to lose the freshman 15.

world's smallest violin.

Suck it, Saddam.
2004-12-12 03:35:48 PM
So let me get this straight. You liberals hate Saddam, and also hate the war in Iraq to get rid of him? Makes sense.
2004-12-12 03:37:34 PM
Put a TV across from his cell and show McDonalds commercials 24/7. Then every morning offer him a happy meal!
2004-12-12 03:37:47 PM
The US doesn't want him to just die. If they'd had wanted that, they could have popped a cap in his head when they cornered him in his spider-hole. It's a lot better looking for the US's image to have Saddam rotting in some cell rather than having Saddam killing himself from starvation and becoming some sorta martyr
2004-12-12 03:38:34 PM
Now give them decks of "Hunger Strikers most wanted" cards, each with a picture of delicious foods on them. And make them play "go fish." Downwind of the kitchen. In low lighting conditions. With soft music playing, you know, for mood.
2004-12-12 03:39:55 PM

Read slowly and try to comprehend.

There are a lot of people in this world I don't like. That doesn't mean it's worth the effort to have that person "removed".

Fark the Iraqi's. I could care less if their ruler is oppressive. ALL of the Arab states are repressive regimes.

Why the fark should our guys go over there and die for them? What about my farking taxes? I don't want to pay for this BS, and I don't want my friends to come home dead.
2004-12-12 03:40:47 PM
So let me get this straight. You liberals hate Saddam, and also hate the war in Iraq to get rid of him? Makes sense.

I hate my neighbour. Doesn't mean I have to level the whole neighbourhood with a nuke just to get rid of him.

Also, let's not forget the reason for going to war wasn't because of Saddam. There are lotsa dictators elsewhere in the world, why aren't they being invaded?
2004-12-12 03:41:00 PM
derek20cali, the war in Iraq involved bombing of "war factories" and other facilites in Iraq. As a liberal, I think that YES Sadam should be punished BUT the means that we used to get to the end was not warranted and not appropriate.
2004-12-12 03:41:19 PM
Didn't the Israelis fix one of these by having a barbeque out back and making sure all the delicious smells drifted into the cells?

2004-12-12 03:41:47 PM
Sooooo, this means they'll have to crack out the funnel and cod liver oil, right?
2004-12-12 03:42:33 PM
Lot's o innocent people died and/or lost their homes because of the bombings aimed at finding weapons that do not exist.

great point. i don't see these upholders of forced iraqi democracy calling for a similar investment from their governments to help end third world debt. such an investment would save hundreds of times the life.
2004-12-12 03:43:51 PM
atomic_99, they didn't actively try to kill W.'s dad.
2004-12-12 03:45:37 PM
Force feed him until he can be tried, convicted and publicly executed.
2004-12-12 03:45:49 PM
Suck it, Saddam. Suck it long, suck it hard.
2004-12-12 03:46:52 PM

Well, it wasn't Saddam, and it may or may not have been WMDs (screwed that one up too bad to tell if the administration actually believed it), and it definitely isn't oil cause we're all still paying craploads for gas. Five bucks says they're looking for the Ark of the Covenant.
2004-12-12 03:47:17 PM

good one! that'll teach him not to be put in place by the cia, won't it? he won't be doing anything like that again, oh no!
