I believe that it in China, it is illegal to belong to any organization that is not the communist party. Even their state-santioned RC church uses JC as a metaphor for the great party.

"Real" Xians/RCs are being persecuted in that country for obvious reasons. I genuinely feel bad for those who live in China and want to be Xian. For those who go to China simply to flaunt their Xianity (or do Falun Gong exercises in city parks), I say fark you, you get no sympathy from me.
